I Saw the Glory is a true story of Dr. Durussia Jenkins' encounter with the hand of God. Her experiences with the supernatural resulted with writing poetry, books, and painting over two hundred images in four months' time. However, it was not just the uniqueness of the images and stories she created that intrigued and drew people to them, but the experience of how they had been done. One night, as Dee was painting on the canvas, she suddenly fell into a trance like state. To anyone on the outside, it appeared that she had fallen into a deep sleep, but in all actuality, she was seeing into the heavenly realms of time, images, and pictures that would parallel the coming of events to unfold on the earth. For weeks, night after night, Dee encountered the presence of God. Each time, He revealed new mysteries and unexplainable wonders, pointing to great moments in time and unknown moments to come. Dee knew that it was not going to be easy to convince people to believe in the images and words that God had spoken, but she knew that she had been mandated by God to present the future of His coming glory to the world.

Through the Door I Saw

The images of those pictures

painted from heaven will be throughout the book. For four weeks, after falling into a deep sleep, what I thought was just a dream became reality. I was transformed from body into spirit form. And I was carried by the angels to places I had never been before on earth or in heaven. I saw the glory of God as I passed by the mountains and hills of God shining with the brilliant colors of gold and silver; it was truly a beautiful place of peace. I saw images of the ages, from the dawning of time throughout the world’s history. Why was it important for me to see this? My question throughout the journey was Why me? Somehow finally I had the answer to my question of Why? The people of the world had to be convinced that God the creator is truly real and He is the living and true God of all mankind. I was to convince them through His art that His love, power, and might to create is in all living things and His created power can be embraced in everyone’s life. Most importantly, He wants to give us His peace and grace in our everyday lives. The greatest of these gifts is love, and everything in life and the purpose of man, is to be loved by an awesome father. Humbled by this experience I continued to think, Who was I to be given such a powerful mission to accomplish? God is the, I Am that I Am.

I understood in that moment I saw how frail and vulnerable I was without Him. How could I convince skeptics and intellectuals to accept the truth of God’s creative power through these images? I realized it was not going to be easy convincing those who would see the images that they were painted by the Hand of God. I had to believe what I was seeing myself and then present it to world. My prayer is that people would believe and find hope; whether it makes natural sense or not. Oh, how I love you Lord as I sat in the knowledge of who He is and has always been, I wanted to please Him. This was the most glorious oasis in the entire universe. His love for us is beyond human understanding, and His reasons to forgive us is even more confusing. He then spoke and said, Man is my deepest desire of pure love. Wow! This knowledge was beyond natural or human understanding. The revelation had now been given to me to make it visible for people to see in all the colors as He/God creatively arranged them together in perfect harmony. I was dumbfounded.

And I was transported on a journey through time and glimpsed all the centuries of the past that each of us take in our lives watching man and his paths there it was unfolding before my eyes. The revelation of wholeness was helping me conquer all my fears, giving me an awesome glimpse into the city of God eternal. As I was carried by the angels of glory, we burst through misty clouds, moving further in the heavens toward the steps leading into His most holy place. I gleaned the beauty of Him who is everywhere and it, simply took my breath
