About this ebook

Our journey with God is a commitment to His truth and faithfulness with purpose, instruction, and assignments, with a mission that God has given to His only Son, Jesus, and for all His children. This book shows how to live an abundant life so we can be overcomers and achieve direction for His purpose in our lives. This book will direct you to God's words in the Bible through the scriptures in this book that will help keep you on the right path with knowledge and understanding of His promise and favor on your life, with confidence and courage. This book gives us an example of who we can imitate, which is Jesus Christ. Imitation is the most sincere form of praise. Jesus accepted His purpose and mission and finished it by surrendering His life to God's will. This book will tell the story of my struggle in my life and how I became an overcomer in God's words through faith, belief, trust, and obedience and by following His will for my life, with a purpose, an assignment, and a mission to achieve God's purpose in my life. I imitated Jesus too. Oh, what a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear. Oh, what a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer. Take it to the Lord in prayer.

    Introduction

    What God Says about Prayer

Pray first thing in the morning. Keeping God first in your life begins by giving thanks to Him for waking you up. Give thanks to God for watching over you and your loved ones, protecting them from harm. Thank God for His only Son, Jesus, who died and was hung on the cross that we would be saved from our sins. Jesus loved His Father and obeyed Him and did the will of His Father by surrendering His life for us that we would be saved in Jesus’s name. Let us praise God and honor His Son, Jesus Christ, for loving us. Jesus shed His blood for us at the age of thirty-three. He rose up on the third day, and he walked and talked to His disciples. Jesus gave his life. He is worthy. That’s why God gave His Son for us. Jesus did the will of His Father and obeyed Him. God the Father was well pleased with His Son, Jesus.

That’s what God expects from us, His children, that His will be done because He knows what’s best for our lives. Our destiny is in God’s hands. Let’s keep Jesus in our daily walk. Pray always during the day. Let Him know you love Him. He knows what goes on in your life. God is our great Savior. He knows our thoughts. Think of positive things; have a positive attitude. Say things like, God is with me. He will give me favor in my life. I will be blessed by God. Keep your faith in God. He will never leave you alone and will not fail you. Remember He loves you and is in control of your life. Stand strong in your faith. Don’t be deceived with Satan’s lies, don’t listen to Satan. His will is to destroy us and turn us away from God. Know who you put your faith in and where your trust is. Believe in God always. Tell Satan you will not serve him and to get behind you. Say it and mean it. Be bold. He will try to confuse you in your mind. Fight back and stand strong on your belief in God’s words. Your life matters to God. He is your rock in times of trouble. Keep fighting the battle with faith in the one who will fight with you and will give you protection.

    Chapter 1

    Increase love for one another

And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you. (1 Thessalonians 3:12)

    Psalm of compassion

Blessed is he that considereth the poor: The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. (Psalm 41:1)

    The Shepherd’s psalm

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. (Psalm 23:6)

You are greater, stronger when you do His will. God is love. He gave His only Son, Jesus, for us. Let’s do the same for others when in need. Take a step to make someone smile and see Jesus’s blessings come in your life. Pray always in Jesus’s name to help you. Show your kindness to others. Believe in God’s Word. He will do what He says. Keep faith in Jesus. He loves you.

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: Pride and arrogancy and the evil way, and the forward mouth, do I hate. (Proverbs 8:13)

    The call of wisdom

Then Peter said unto them repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the
