Elizabeth has a passion to share with others the love of Christ, and in doing so, sharing that they have been born with a unique purpose! She has a special love for God’s vulnerable children and has a dream of opening an orphanage in the Caribbean.
Elizabeth is currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts Ministry and Leadership program through Oral Roberts University. You Have Been Called!

I am writing to God’s church in Corinth, to you who have been called by God to be his own holy people.

He made you holy by means of Christ Jesus,

just as he did for all people everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours.

May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ

give you grace and peace.

1 Corinthians 1:2-3

You have been called. God the creator of the Universe has called you, yes, you! He has called you to be holy, and you become holy through Jesus Christ when you call on His name. Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord, He will make holy. That does not mean we will always act holy because we are still human. When we submit ourselves to God, He is faithful and just to keep His word! God always keeps His word. Holy means consecrated or set aside for sacred use, standing apart from sin and evil, and having the characteristics of God. Having been set aside for sacred use, God has a special plan for you and for me. You are here for a reason. We have all been called by God. Just because we have been called does not mean we will automatically fulfill our destiny; it takes our part too. Don’t let life pass you by without fulfilling your purpose. What have you been called to do? What has God placed in your heart that you are passionate about? I encourage you to seek the Lord about what He’s called you to do! I’m cheering you on!

Declaration: God the Father has called me to be holy, therefore I am! I am called with a special purpose that I will fulfill! I receive the grace and peace Jesus has given me, in His name. Amen!

All is Well

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

Romans 8:28-29

God does not waste a single moment in your life. The good, bad, and ugly are all used together to create your unique purpose in this world. Everything that you are doing and going through right now is training for where you are going. Nothing is wasted. God knew us in advance before He created the world; He thought of us and chose us to be like His Son Jesus. When we are born again, we spiritually have the same DNA as Jesus, therefore we were created to become more and more like Him. You were created in His image! Anything Jesus did here on Earth you can do, and even greater things. Jesus is our example to follow. It also says we are family! What a great brother we have to look up to! Give God your mess and let Him turn it into your message! No matter what you are going through or have been through, I encourage you to give it to God and let Him work everything together for your good because you have been called. Thank you, Jesus!

Declaration: God is working all things out for my good because I love Him and am called according to His purpose! God chose me! I will fulfill my purpose, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

You’ve Been Made Right

We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ.

And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.

Romans 3:22

We have been made right with God when we believe in Jesus as our Lord and savior. This applies to everyone, no matter who you are! I like that! You don’t have to be special or come from a certain family of influence. When you call on the name of Jesus and have faith in him and His word you are made right with God instantly. This is known as being righteous. It doesn’t matter what sins you have committed in your life. God loves you and looks past your mistakes. You are totally and completely forgiven. Our action of faith gets God’s attention! What action of faith have you taken recently? If you feel God’s been calling you to do something, I encourage you to do it quickly! Be obedient. There is a blessing on the other side of your obedience! God will see your faith in Him and bless you along the way. Don’t worry about what your past looks like. We have all stumbled at one point or another. Give God your past and he will turn it into something beautiful. Take that first step today, and place your faith in Jesus, and watch what He will do in your life! You have been made right with God! I declare your future is bright! Your best days are ahead in Jesus’ name!

Declaration: I have been made right with God because I put my faith in Jesus Christ! I am redeemed! I am loved! I am forgiven! I matter to God, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Be Prosperous!

But they delight in the law of the Lord,

meditating on it day and night.

They are like trees planted along the riverbank,

bearing fruit each season.

Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.

Psalm 1:2-3

I am sure you would like to prosper in all you do; I know I do! For us to prosper, we need to keep the word of God in our hearts and meditate on it throughout the day. When we do this, we will be fruitful in whatever we do. It doesn’t matter what the economy is doing; we are not of this world. When we do things God’s way, we can always be sure we will prosper, and our leaves will never wither. Maybe you grew up where there was a poverty mindset, you can be the one to change that generational curse. I declare the spirit of poverty is broken off of you and your family line! Receive His supernatural abundance now! Put God’s word first place in your life and acknowledge Him in all your ways and watch as He prospers you in all you put your hand to! You will be like the tree planted along the riverbank bearing fruit in each season of your life! God loves to bless those who love Him and put Him first! I declare you are prosperous!

Declaration: I delight in the law of the Lord, and I am like a tree planted along the riverbank prospering in ALL I do. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

You are Protected!

But you, O LORD, are a shield around me; you are my glory,

the one who holds my head high. I cried out to the LORD,

and he answered me from his holy mountain.

Psalm 3:3-4

What an awesome God we have! He is our shield around us. Not just in front of us or beside us, but a shield around us, on every side! We are encircled by the Lord! He is our glory and he holds our head up high. When circumstances don’t go as we planned, it’s easy to want to hang our head in defeat. But the Lord is right there to pick our head up and hold it high! When you hold your head up high, it shows that you are confident. When you hold your head up high it shows you trust in God to take care of all your needs. When you cry out to the Lord, He will answer! You can always count on Him. He is never too busy for you. He says, I’ve got you! Keep your eyes on Jesus no matter what you are going through. Keep going, never give up, your answer is on the way!

Declaration: The Lord is a shield around me, and He is my glory! He holds my head high and always answers my cry! The glory of the Lord is upon me, and I can face today with confidence, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

You are Comforted!

The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.

He lets me rest in green meadows;

he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength.

He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.

Even when I walk through the darkest valley,

I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me.

Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.

Psalm 23:1-4

We all go through difficult times that can seem unbearable. Perhaps we cannot see a way out. When you are going through these times, it is vital you lean into the Lord for Him to comfort you. He will lead you and guide you, and while He is doing that, He is renewing your strength. Receive His supernatural strength today. When we are faced with uncertainty, we don’t always feel strong and that’s okay, but we can go to the Father who loves us. There in His presence, we are protected, we are comforted, and we are renewed. We have all that we need through Jesus. Remember these moments shall pass and you will walk through the dark valley. You will not stay in this pit if you keep your eyes on Jesus. He will bring you through. He is right there with you. For there is nothing to fear. No matter what you may be facing right now, know that the Lord is close beside you, and will lead you through that valley. He will never leave you or forsake you; He is right there with you. God loves you with an everlasting love and He will take care of you!

Declaration: The Lord is my shepherd and I have all I need! I rest in the arms of Jesus as I face this day and I am comforted in His presence because I know He is close beside me! The Lord is my protection and my comfort! I refuse to fear! I receive the peace and comfort of God right now. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Take the Limits off!

But with God everything is possible.

Matthew 19:26

What is burning in your heart right now with passion? What have you always wanted to do but have not done anything about it yet? What dream do you want fulfilled? God has placed these desires inside of you, so that they would be fulfilled but you must do your part too! Why haven’t your dreams come to pass yet? What are you afraid of? With God, EVERYTHING is POSSIBLE! Take the limits off your thinking, and get excited! What can you do this week to help you be one step closer to achieving your goal? Walk that mile! Write that first page! Fill out that application! Make that phone call! It’s up to you to decide you want that dream to come to pass. Apart from God, we can do nothing, but with God, He makes the way when it seems there isn’t one. He provides what we need at just the right timing. Nothing is too hard for God! He is all powerful! Put God first place in your life, because with Him everything is possible! You can do this!

Declaration: The dreams that God has placed in my heart will come to pass in Jesus’ name, for with God, EVERYTHING is POSSIBLE! I choose to trust God and His word. I will fulfill my purpose in life in Jesus’ name, Amen!

God is Good, All the Time!

But you are a God of forgiveness, gracious and merciful,

slow to become angry, and rich in unfailing love.

Nehemiah 9:17

I know I need forgiveness, grace, and mercy in my life. What about you? Where would you be without God’s unfailing love? Where would you be without His mercy? This verse says God is rich in unfailing love. I am sure like me you have been hurt by people who were supposed to love you. That is something we never have to worry about with God; He has an unfailing love for you. God’s love never fails. God has always loved you and always will, no matter how good or bad you act. His love for us is not performance based. He doesn’t expect perfection from us. I want you to receive the love of God like never before. Receive God’s forgiveness, grace, and mercy so you can live out the fullness of your days. It feels good to be loved, especially by a God who loves us unconditionally. God knows we will mess up. He knows we need his mercy and grace. God is not mad at you. He is compassionate. God loves you as much as he loves Jesus. You, my friend, were born of love.

Declaration: I rest in the forgiveness of God. I receive His grace, mercy, and unfailing love! I was born of Love. God loves me! Now that I know God loves me, I will extend that love to others, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

It’s Time to Prophesy!

Then he said to me, "speak a prophetic message to these bones and say, ‘Dry bones, listen to the word of the Lord.

This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Look!

I am going to put breath into you and make you live again!

Ezekiel 37: 4-5

God has shown us that we need to speak life over our lives, our situations, and our bodies! God has given us power and authority by giving us the name of Jesus. Maybe you are going through a situation that needs life put into it, maybe it’s your body, your business, or your marriage. Whatever the situation is, declare the word of the Lord over it and command life to come, in Jesus’ name! God spoke worlds into existence by using His words. There is power in the words we speak, whether it is positive or negative. I pray you are speaking life-giving words in your life. What needs life spoken into it, in your life? Where do you need the breath of God? God’s word is alive and active, use it today! Call those things that be not as though they were! The Word always works, it never returns void! Now is the time to prophesy!

Declaration: I prophesy over my life right now in Jesus’ name; I declare life to come into the dry places in my life! I say to the dry bones in my life, you listen to the word of the Lord. I speak LIFE to you in Jesus’ name! I use the power and authority given to me by Jesus himself and command you to live again, in His mighty name. Amen!

Victory Belongs to You!

But you belong to God, my dear children.

You have already won a victory over those people,

because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than

the spirit who lives in the world.

1 John 4:4

When you were born again, the spirit of the living God was made alive and active on the inside of you. You have the same DNA as Jesus! When Jesus died on the cross, He gained the victory for us. You don’t need to fight the battle. Jesus has already won and given you the victory! When you put your trust in the finished works of Jesus, you can rest knowing you already have the victory. Greater is He that lives in you than he that is in the world. As a believer, you are living in the place of victory. You already have it. It has already been taken care of; it’s not something you are trying to get. Just receive it! We live from a place of victory; we do not strive to get the victory. Jesus paid the price with His precious blood, so that you could live in victory every day of your life! There is nothing more powerful than our God! You are an overcomer by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony! Share your testimony with someone today!

Declaration: I belong to God and since I belong to God, I already have the Victory! I rest in the finished works of Jesus Christ and receive Victory in every area of my life! Thank you, Jesus! Amen!

Seize the Moment!

Live wisely among those who are not believers,

and make the most of every opportunity.

Let your conversation be gracious and attractive

so that you will have the right response for everyone.

Colossians 4:5-6

It is up to us the believers to make the most of every opportunity that comes our way! We can give encouragement and hope to a world that is living in darkness. When you have the Spirit of the living God on the inside of you, you don’t talk like you used to, or watch the shows you used to, and you certainly don’t use the language like you used to. Our conversations must be gracious and attractive, and of wise speech. People are listening to what you’re saying. Make the most of every chance you get and speak life and light into the lives around you. People are watching you. They want to know what a real Christian looks like and acts like. You may be the only example of Jesus in someone’s life. Are you living a life that is pleasing to the Lord? Now is the time to come up to another level! I want you to make the most of every opportunity you are given, for it only comes once!

Declaration: My conversations are gracious and attractive! I make the most of every opportunity that comes my way! I seize the moments in my life so that I live a life with purpose, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

It’s Time to Grow!

Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.

For you know that when your faith is tested,

your endurance has a chance to grow.

So let it grow for when your endurance is fully developed,

you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

James 1:2-4

When trouble comes my way, I know my first reaction isn’t always to think about it being an opportunity for great joy, and I am sure you don’t either. We are human. Growing is not always pleasant, and when we are tested it can be very uncomfortable. But if we can keep our eyes on Jesus to pass the test, keep pushing through, and continuing in our faith during these trials we know we are growing. Just like when you were a child, maybe you had growing pains; I know I did. It was not always a joy growing, but we can never grow unless we go through the process. It is then we can be fully developed. Every time you go through something you grow little by little and through that process, you will be perfect and complete needing nothing. That sounds pretty good to me, how about you? Let these moments you are going through help you gain the experiential knowledge you need in life. You can do it! I declare you are growing in the Lord!

Declaration: I declare when trouble comes my way, I consider it a great JOY! The JOY of the Lord is my strength! I am growing every day and becoming fully developed, perfect, and complete, needing nothing, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Revelation from Heaven!

No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.

But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit.

For his Spirit searches out everything

and shows us God’s deep secrets.

1 Corinthians 2:9-10

When you love God, you are aligning yourself up to receive revelation from Heaven! God reveals these things by His Spirit. When you take the time to sit down with the Lord and have quiet time with Him, you can be sure He will reveal great and mighty things to you. Grab a pen and paper and expect to receive revelation from Heaven. Set aside the time to honor and worship God and praise Him for all he has done for you. When you praise Him, you can be sure that you will enter into His presence and that is the sweet spot for receiving God’s deep secrets that were kept for you! Not from you, but for you. Whatever you hear, write it down, no matter how silly it may sound. God’s thoughts are higher than ours. No matter how big of a dream He reveals to you, receive it in Jesus’ name!

Declaration: Heavenly Father, I praise you and worship you, for you alone are worthy to be praised! I quiet myself before you and receive revelation from Heaven. I receive the deep secrets that you have prepared for me, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

God Always Answers!

I cried out to the Lord in my great trouble, and he answered me.

Jonah 2:2

We can always be sure the Lord will answer us when we cry out to Him. Have you ever called someone when you needed something, and there was no answer? Or did someone promise to help you, and then when the time came, they forgot all about it? We never have to worry about that with God. He is faithful to His word and we can rest assured He will always answer when we need Him. Even if you are in the middle of doing something you know you should not be doing, when you humble yourself and cry out to the Lord, He will answer. His word is true. Go to Him for wisdom and understanding in the situations of your life. Ask Him what you should do. Wherever you need help today ask Him for help. Refuse to let pride get in the way of asking for help. I encourage you to lean into Jesus, no matter what the situation is. He is there waiting for you to call on Him!

Declaration: I will call upon the Lord, for I know when I do, He will answer me! The Lord is waiting for me to cry out to Him in my troubles! He is where my comfort and answers come from! Thank you, Jesus, for always being my help in my time of need! Amen!

God is Always Ready to Help!

God is our refuge and strength,

always ready to help in times of trouble.

So we will not fear when earthquakes come

and the mountains crumble into the sea.

Psalm 46:1-2

When trouble comes, God is our refuge and our strength. It is easy to look at the natural and go to the bag of cookies or chips, or maybe to a friend to complain. But those options will not take us very far. We will most likely end up worse off than we were before. God is right there with you in your mess ready to help. During these times, we have got to make a quality decision to refuse fear. Fear can creep its way into your life, or it can come on you suddenly. Regardless of how it comes, we must refuse to let fear be the steering wheel in our life. Go to God first. Seek the Kingdom of God first. Use His word to help guide you through the obstacles you will face in this life. Fear not, for there is nothing to fear! Fear tolerated is faith contaminated. Let your faith be bigger than your fear. Let your faith be strong in the midst of trouble. Let God give you His strength when you need it the most. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world! I bind the spirit of fear off of you in Jesus’ name, and I speak peace over your life!

Declaration: God, you alone are my refuge and my strength! I come to you in times of trouble, and I refuse to fear! You have not given me a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind! My faith is bigger than my fear in Jesus’ name. Amen!

We Have Hope!

I will never forget this awful time, as I grieve over my loss.

Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this:

The faithful love of the Lord never ends!

His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness;

his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself;

The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!

Lamentations 3:20-24

When we have a loss in our life, it can seem unbearable at the time, and we can be tempted to feel hopeless. God never intended for these moments to keep us stuck and never move on. We must mourn and move! When we experience a loss, I encourage you to remember the love of the Lord never ends. The love of the Lord can get you through any situation. Love never fails because God never fails. Hold your head up high and keep your eyes focused on Jesus, because His mercies begin afresh each morning. Take the time you need to mourn the loss, give your hurting heart to God, and rest in His love. When we keep our focus on God and what He has done for us, we find hope. True hope. Keep moving forward. Keep trusting Jesus, and dare to HOPE! Choose to believe God’s word for your life. Your best days are still ahead. God still has a hope and future for you. Let your life be an encouragement to others! You can do this!

Declaration: Lord, you know this difficult time I’m going through. I am grieving over my loss. Yet I know your faithful love never ends and right now I choose to rest in your love! My Hope is in YOU, and I will keep moving forward in my life to fulfill my destiny, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Chosen to Be Holy!

God the Father knew you and chose you long ago,

and his Spirit has made you holy. As a result, you have obeyed him and have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ.

May God give you more and more grace and peace.

1 Peter 1:2

God chose you and by His Spirit made you holy! When we are born again by his Spirit, we want to obey our Heavenly Father. We don’t do the things we used to without thinking about the consequences. The Spirit of God gives us this little check if we have entertained sin, saying, this is not holy. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us. No matter what you may have done in the past or are doing now, when you apply the blood of Jesus, you are cleansed. That does not mean you can keep going about living in sin; that was the old you. The new, born-again believer wakes up and strives to be better, and craves an intimate relationship with God the Father. God has an unending supply of grace and peace for us to walk out our destiny. Let the blood of Jesus wash over you and your new life as a believer. Receive the forgiveness God provides. The blood has washed away all your sins and has made it possible to live the life God intended! Declare the blood of Jesus over every part of your life today!

Declaration: God knew me and chose me long ago to be holy! I lay claim to the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus! I receive more grace and peace every day of my life, and I extend it to those around me in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Get Ready for God to use You!

If you keep yourself pure,

you will be a special utensil for honorable use.

Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for

the Master to use you for every good work.

2 Timothy 2:21

If you want to be used by God, we need to be mindful of how we are walking out our daily life. This scripture says If we keep ourselves pure, we will be a special utensil for honorable use. We need to make a daily decision that we want to keep a pure heart and repent when we miss the mark. I say when we miss the mark, and not if we miss the mark, because we are human and we all have character flaws. God absolutely does not expect us to be perfect; only Jesus could do that. But He does expect us to do the best we can and come to Him for help. I want to be an example in my life, and I am sure you do too, otherwise you would not be reading these faith-building scriptures. Resting in God’s grace and receiving everything the cross has provided will help you in your faith walk! You are special to God, and He wants to use you. God has a wonderful plan for your life. I declare you will make a difference in this world! Get ready for God to use you because you are special to Him!

Declaration: God, only by your grace, I can keep myself pure. Please help me when I miss the mark! I want to be used by you honorably because I am your special utensil! Here I am Lord, use me! I receive every good work you have placed before me in Jesus’ name. Amen!
