About this ebook

At age twelve, I found my salvation and got baptized. The Lord is very dear to me.

We live in a pandemic and a mean and crazy time in this world. It is difficult to have a smile sometimes.

We can read many books and read the words, but sometimes the words we read can bring a picture of something in our minds. That old saying is true; a picture can be worth a million dollars.

We have hope, faith, trust, blessings, sorrow, joys, beauty, love, our health, and do not forget the humor. Life would be difficult without a little humor.

In this book, you will learn about bubbling brooks and overflowing fountains that fill us with so much joy. You will have a smile that will not fade because of a man named, “Jesus.”

Look up in the sky and see those gorgeous rainbows and the many stars, and do not forget the moon that puts so much light out for us so we do not have to be in the dark. God said let it be, and it was.

But most importantly, you will learn about Jesus Christ, our Savior. I do not know where we would be without him. We receive all of the second chances but do not deserve it. Living right is made easier with our Savior and Heavenly Father.

Living Right Made Easy - Cheryll Hendrickson

    Faith

Faith is things unseen and believed. How do we know them wonderful mushrooms come up every year when nobody plants a seed or even waters them one time? How about when that sun comes up every day and you do not have to tell it to come up, and it is so pretty.

Faith is also believing that God will give us another gulp of fresh air to breathe and those big trees to give us the oxygen we need. Think about the birds. There are too many to count, but none of them go hungry or thirsty. What about them little babies coming out of their mother’s womb and how they are nourished and growing inside us? We cannot see them until nine months later.

All we have to do is pray and believe God will heal us, and it will be done in God’s time, not ours. We must have strong enough faith to believe it. When we have a major obstacle in our life, it could be a mountain, or it could be a tiny rock. There is none too little or too big for God. You see, there is nothing impossible with God. There is nothing he cannot do. After all, he created everything you see, hear, feel, taste, and touch.

God gives us all of our needs; he even knows what they are before we ask. However, he likes us to acknowledge him. We must use caution though because we as humans get confused with wants and needs. God is a generous God and wants to give us nice things in life, but he does not want us to take them for granted as we tend to do sometimes. There are hundreds of things that occur every day that we do not even think about, and it happens because God made the way for them.

It is so beautiful to see the leaves from green to orange, or red, or even yellow. We do not go out and paint them; they just appear. It is no mystery why the stars and moon shine on us. They wink and twinkle all night, and the old moon, she lights our way in the dark. But there are no off and on switches.

Can you imagine how tiny a mustard seed is? The Bible says all we have to do is have the faith of a mustard seed and believe. Nothing is too trivial for him. What may be important for you and I may be detrimental for someone else. He loves us all for who and what we are. We are his children, each and every one of us.

There is a reward for us all when God returns if we walk and live in the ways we should daily and continually, all day long. We will go back with Jesus Christ, our savior and dear Lord, and be in his presence eternally.

Faith is about how you live in the meantime—when you make decisions and when you do not know for sure what is next. Faith that cannot be tested cannot be trusted. God tries our faith, not to destroy it but to develop it. Faith is the channel through which God works redeeming grace. Faith offers us the gift of quietness and rest.

True faith requires obedience, being willing to stake everything on God’s love and faithfulness, then doing what he asks when we do not understand, and when he demands that we give up the things we love the most. Faith is hope’s foundation and is a telescope for the future. Faith is pursuing all of God with all of me. Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith, which means, he is both the starting point and the culmination of a reseal. A reality secured by the cross.

    Hope

Hope is expecting something to happen and waiting patiently for God to give it to us or make it happen.

When we sin daily and we, sometimes, do not think about it or realize it, we ask forgiveness for our sins. Without him, we have no hope. We will die and burn in hell forever. I want to be with Jesus and live forever with all the angels. There are too many to count. The Bible says we will each have 10,000 of our own.

As the song goes Because He Lives, which is one of my favorite songs, Because he lives, I can face tomorrow. Tomorrow can be anything that comes up, and I know I
