Christians could really use some help with today's onslaught of modern challenges. Things aren't so black & white anymore. Christians all over the world are getting into witchcraft and the occult. Pastors aren't teaching their congregation about things that we desperately need to know, and instead just repeat what they were taught in seminary (much of which is wrong, according to the very same Bible that they teach from). Children are able to watch whatever they want from the privacy of their phones. Entertainment that is meant for adults can be accessed by our children with ease. The occult is taking over our schools, our churches, our ministries, our neighborhoods, and our children, as we sit idly by hoping for change. Many of us are ignorantly unaware of the occult, and others simply don't care, as long as they can still watch Netflix. Many of our children are performing witchcraft right under our noses. Others are victims of occult oppression and abuse. We need God now more than ever, yet so many of us Christians don't even know who God truly is!

I've been saved for over 27 years. I've made countless mistakes and misjudgments, and I've learned many hard lessons over that time. This book is a collection of that knowledge and experience in the form of proverbs. It is my hope that you will be inspired, better understand our spiritual enemy, that you will be better equipped to fight said enemy, and grow even stronger in Christ.

Intro

I was the awkward kid that rarely talked. I always smiled, not because I was happy, but because of the awkwardness I felt inside during any human interaction. Growing up, I thought that I was just a waste of resources, that I’d be better off dead. I was saved at 9, but nothing really seemed to change. I wanted to kill myself a few short years later, but I managed to talk myself out of it. I joined the military hoping to die in combat so I wouldn’t have to put up with the pain any longer.

In the Marines I was just as stubborn and foolish as I was as a teenager. Those that knew me didn’t have high hopes for me. I drank, smoked, cussed, was sexually active, did drugs occasionally… I was a rebel.

After the military, I remained depressed and lost. I was saved but didn’t have any direction. I was still addicted to porn, I was doing drugs again, and I was struggling to get a job. I was a wreck. This was when God started to call my name, right in the midst of my chaos.

I started reading my Bible and cleaning up my life. God put me back on track. I still thought that there was no way that God could ever use someone like me, but I believed what Jesus said. I believed that if I prayed it, He would do it. So I started praying. And I kept praying.

Years later, God told me that it was time for me to write a book. I laughed, having tried and miserably failed to write a book earlier. But God led me by the hand, and the book was written.

Don’t think that God can’t or won’t use you. He can use anyone who’s willing to be a vessel for Him. Stop lying to yourself and start asking Him to use you in big ways! And give Him the glory when He does!

God loves it when you pour your heart out to Him.

God is never too early or too late. His timing is always perfect timing.

Show God that He can trust you with what He gives you, and He’ll give you more.

God sings an endless song of love, but you have to open your ears to hear it.
