About the Author
To Mykah and Zion, the source of my every morning rise!
Introduction
Wars, since the beginning of time, have shaped and affected the fabric of every human life. The quality of life that we experience as Americans exists based on the wars won by our great nation. Victories that would have never been obtained without the effectiveness of good relationships. Good relationships transform the darkness of mental poverty into joyful light of rich thoughts shining through. Good relationships are altitude boosters, and when you have strong, loving, and harmonious relationships in your life, your life becomes more meaningful. This book teaches how to regain what the intended purpose of a relationship is. For many who have failed miserably at sustaining a relationship and desire to improve their bonds, this book is for you! Relationships are meant to be the sacred homes in which we dwell to protect and strengthen ourselves from a very unloving and cold world. Sadly, many people remain living in dysfunctional relationships further increasing their mental distress and adding to an already unbalanced and unproductive life. If a person cannot find safety within their spouse or lover, where else will this comfort be found? They will indeed find it somewhere else. You know this, right? The heart finds what the heart wants! Thus, here is where infidelity is born—a product of a failing relationship: without the necessary elements of cheerful communication, adequate words of affection, and a lack of attentive listening. This book will aid you in repairing broken relationships by challenging egocentric thoughts, coupled with exploring insight and perspectives which most people hate to acknowledge. Their own selfishness! Unity in love means you open yourself up to become one house with your husband or wife. It invites both people to think beyond themselves and to combine their hearts to beat at the same rhythm and share the same tune. This is how a relationship rises, and yes, it is a war! A very laborious and burdensome war for those who do not apply fundamental principles of kindness, reason without prejudice, and a will to empathize in seeing the position and vantage point of their lover.
Within the pages of this enlightening, thought-provoking, mind-bending text, I share problem-solving solutions to restore romance and partnerships where emotional death and decay reside. The topics which I explore are the primary battlegrounds where couples war and fight, dismantling the entire land (relationship) over an issue that can simply be fixed. However, it is only simple if the two are willing to adhere to sound advice and work together. I can continue on and on, giving you the appetizer and allowing you to salivate as you wait on the main course. But how would that affect my relationship with you, the reader? (Smile.) Thoughtfulness remains a vital key that helps bonds bloom. Thank you for reading, and may you enjoy the journey…

First Things First
First Things First: Loving Your Own Body!
Before I fire up the engine and begin this journey of teaching about relationships between people, let's first talk about what a relationship is. A relationship means to be connected or fastened together, to join, unite, and harmony.
How can we begin to travel down the road of creating, developing, and sustaining positive, healthy, and loving relationships with people if we cannot have a loving and healthy relationship with our own bodies? People wake up each day, unconsciously failing to realize that their body is their closest companion and lover. Your body wakes up saying to you, Good morning, my sweet love, will you love me and treat me right today?
It says, Please watch what you put inside me. You know I need lots of water and sugar hurts me, and it brings my spirits down. And oh, how exercise ignites my immune system and makes me happy and strong. Will you do me right today?
Your body is constantly trying to communicate with you about what love and health are. Are you one of those people who is mistreating your temple, yet you are expecting your body to yield its greatest results? People find themselves in the hospital each year, struggling with obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, and an assortment of self-inflicted illnesses which could have been avoided had they made the right choice in relating to their bodies' health and good preferences. In a relationship, it is never about you. Selfishness is the number one cause of why relationships between people fail. If you know what your body desires and requires in order to be happy, healthy, and effective, then why are you not giving to your body what you know it needs and loves? This applies to your relationships with people. Once you know the person and know what they like and dislike, provide them with the good things that will make them happy. Life is all about sacrificing, especially if you desire for your relationships to grow stronger and flourish, reaching optimal heights. Like with your unhealthy eating habits, you must sacrifice eating all those delectable treats, sweets, greasy foods, and carbs if you want to support your overall health. To stubbornly refuse to not sacrifice your sugar cravings and lazy habits of not moving and exercising, your body will suffer and be sacrificed to poor health and sickness. We
