Wine and Love

About this ebook
Wine and Love is poetry written with heart and passion. The heart is a vulnerable piece of ourselves, giving your heart to someone and receiving the love from another soul. Passion is the energy behind love, the will to follow and lead, the feeling of knowing something matters, and knowing you want it with all your heart and soul. Poetry is a gift that God gives the writer. The stars, the heavens, and the earth all represent God. God is a part of us all. He is the energy that keeps us moving. The world around us is his gift to us. We are all one.
Expressions of the soul,
Our soul is forever.
We learn and grow,
Inspired by love and the lessons of life.
Our favorite things come from the soul.
Love and life come from the soul.
Knowing someone's soul is knowing love,
Experience and learning from the world.
Jimmy speaks of wine as if he is speaking to his true love with elegance in metaphor. God gave us wine. Let's have a sip and unwind. Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet, and Tempranillo are just some of the grapes Jimmy mentioned, bringing the beauty of the grape and speaking of it as if it's the love of his life. The grape represents the beauty of a woman.
He speaks of flowers, nature, and the heavens, describing the passion inside him for the beauty of nature, the bee, and the tree. Go back and notice the beauty all around us--the eagle in the sky, the moon and its light. Jimmy speaks of nature to bring us far from the noise of the modern world.
Love, love, love...what a beautiful thing.
Without love, we don't grow.
The hug, the kiss...it all helps us glow.
This is the focus of Jimmy's words,
The ups and downs of love,
The smile, the eyes, and falling in love.
We all go through it. Sometimes just once, sometimes more. We learn and grow from every relationship.
This collection of poetry is written for the soul.

Wine and Love - Jimmy J. Pallavicini
Her Taste
A glass filled with words.
There’s much in her eyes.
The wine brings out magic.
Syrah and Merlot,
a blend that’s so heavy.
In color, it shows.
She’s smooth and fruit forward,
her eyes, feel like home.
She bites on my lips,
and that’s how I know.
A wine that’s so true,
Syrah and Merlot.
The energy’s something,
something I know.
I hold her hand,
a kiss on the go.
Your Eyes, Darling
I taste the beauty of the heavens here on Earth.
It’s not the wine, but a feeling in the soul,
when you look into my eyes and I look into yours.
Love of Mine
I heard some whispers in a dream.
She said, your eyes are meant for me.
It’s something in the heart and soul.
She said, you’re what I’m looking for.
I love you, mama, on and on.
Today, tomorrow,
moon and sun.
Words for Two
I spoke some words of wisdom.
May the light come shine on through.
May we always be protected,
our air, our sun, our moon.
May the waters keep on moving.
May the soul feel like it’s new.
Protection is protection,
always from me to you.
One Flower
A flower in my dream.
When I wake, I can see clearly.
There’s kisses to my soul,
her eyes give me much more.
I’m a man, and I am king.
She’s energy of day,
a beauty of the sun.
So many lovely flowers,
but the truth, I just see one.
She has something about her.
I’m something of the wise.
I take a drink of Mezcal,
and I’m going with the flow.
Today and my tomorrow,
my love is always yours.
Colored Blue
The beauty of my words
are written just for you.
I’m poet of a dream,
a man,
I’m my own king.
I can pick a thousand flowers,
but none compare to you.
Your eyes, they have a birthmark.
Your soul is colored blue.
Your voice is my desire.
I hear you in a dream.
You whisper words of love,
like you’re my everything.
Your heart, your mind, your soul.
I’m here for you, my darling.
My queen, you are today.
I love you, mi amor.
A Sip of You
An eagle and a pen,
a flower and a crown.
Two hearts are full of passion.
Your voice, a lovely sound.
There’s nothing in the cold,
so have some Chardonnay.
The flowers, they all love me.
Your eyes, they have me stay.
There’s moonlight in the rain,
a kiss of Chardonnay.
I walk into the forest,
with a uniform of gray.
I tell you, love of mine,
a magnet to the soul.
Today and my tomorrow,
a kiss, our lips, our all.
Blue Skies
I speak about the beauty
of the sky and of your eyes.
I can see they both have blue.
I looked up and thought of you.
In your eyes, the sky has magic,
like a kiss onto the soul.
It’s your heart that calls my name,
it’s a kiss that sparked the flame.
It’s everything about you,
like a magnet to the soul.
I love you, pretty mama.
Your eyes, your lips, your all.
