About this ebook

Have you ever wondered if God hears you when you ask him something? Or thought that when you ask Him, He will not answer? Believing that although getting answers is crucial to you, God probably does not care. Whether we genuinely think that there is or is not a God or believe in the existence of a Creator, we still may have questions about God's existence and our relationship with him.

I had two questions; the first was regarding the Trinity of God. When I posed the question to others, I was never satisfied with the answer. And the second was regarding the scripture, "God made man in his image." I did not quite understand what scripture was describing because I saw men and women who looked entirely different.

One God One Man illuminates the Scriptures and shows the reader that the Bible clearly teaches how the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one God and how the Trinity is necessary to express God's love and desire for fellowship with us fully. And that God only created one man who would reflect the life of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit to all creation.

As you read the pages of One God One Man, you will follow the journey of a person who expressed his questions to God and how God answered and revealed even more than he had asked.

    Preface

Before I begin, I want to acknowledge my belief in the essential aspects of a fulfilling relationship with God, a life lived in prayer and devotion to Scripture. I know that through such commitment, God forgives our trespasses and sins, gives us life, answers our questions, and directs us through our day.

God sent His Holy Spirit to live with us and in us so He could teach us everything we want to know about our Creator. The same Holy Spirit gives us gifts to help us learn and live according to the will of God. When we surrender to Him, we experience an unconditionally loving relationship with the one who not only created us but knows us better than we know ourselves.

As we feel His love, we find ourselves loving Him. He always accepts us and then helps us overcome the life that keeps us in the guilt of sin. As we surrender our lives to His life, we become a unique expression of His beauty to our fellow man. As we mature in this great relationship with Him, we begin to understand that each of us has a meaningful purpose to the generation to which we have been born.

Everyone whose bloodline comes from Adam and Eve has been created in the image of God and is a unique expression of Him. Today, approximately seven billion human beings live on earth, and only God, our Creator, knows the number of those who have preceded or the number of people yet to be. It is He who has created and will continue to create each one of us in His image, thus expressing to us the love and wonder of who He is.

After a person is born, they begin their education in several ways, and some experience good influence and education. Sadly, others experience very destructive effects of bad influences and are robbed of a good education. However, no matter the circumstances that educate us, we have all been created by God; thus, we all must decide to accept Christ as the Son of God and believe that He redeems us to our heavenly Father. In so doing, we all come to Him as sinners and walk with Him as the redeemed.

Throughout our lives, we develop questions. Some are more important to us than others, and others may contemplate different questions. Given the uniqueness of all individuals, the answers we seek may not be the same.

This book contains the answers to two questions I have had about God. Soon after I surrendered my life to Him, I developed a desire for a clear understanding of God's Trinity, and I also wanted to know what it is about a man that makes him created in God's own image. The Holy Spirit began answering me early on, and He continues to teach me even now during the writing of this book.

Many may have questions regarding the Trinity of God and how it is that man is made in His image. And many may have had other questions and have not considered the subject. Man needs one another to grow into maturity. Our Creator planned this. So we can each fulfill the purpose of edifying the body of Christ until He comes back to establish His kingdom on earth. We have different questions about life, and we desire answers. As individuals, each of us should be in prayer and study of Scripture and searching for answers to questions we have about the truth and life of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is always amazing that God loves us enough to answer our questions.

I never intended to author a book about the Trinity and man's being made in God's image. But the beautiful things He has taught me about our Creator—God the Father, the Son, and Himself—answer questions about the Trinity of God. It wasn't until recently that I thought I should write down what He taught me.

As with all education, whether written of or spoken over a pulpit, truth is of the utmost importance to God about whom we teach. While the answers I have received are good enough for me, I sincerely hope that this book will help the reader to understand the subject written within with greater clarity as you read.

I look forward to hearing from those who have received the same teaching from the Holy Spirit of God. It is always rewarding to hear confirmation from fellow brothers and sisters who have received the same answers and education.

We must always pray and strive to study Scripture before claiming that our teaching is actual. This writing is by no means comprehensive teaching of the subjects spoken of; it is simply a glimpse.

    God bless you.
