About this ebook
About My Writing
Dive into the ocean that is the English language in the style known as romantic existentialism. Go on a journey into the impossible made possible. Stretch your heart and mind and imagination to the depths of the universe and back. Go on adventures that will lead you to emotions you never knew you had. Visit depths of thought which will lead you to love and heartbreak, seasons which know the living and the passed. Die and breathe with me in war and silent peace, times of fruitful plenty, and times of death's scarce bones. Enjoy endings where you find yourself alone on an island examining the flesh and breath of your existence. With vivid imagery that won't leave you in the dark unless we are paying homage to the sacred night. So pack your bags and trip with me as we travel from your soul to your heart to your mind. We will trudge through sun and moon, rivers and oceans, man to woman to child, blood and laughter, and universes of little secrets in your psyche all in the comfort of your own eyes. Enjoy reading as much as I enjoyed writing. This book is your vehicle to all these destinations and much more. Your ride is here. Let's go.

To mom and dad
I Miss You
I miss you.
Simple as a waiting wind.
Complex like red roses burning.
The world turns
And I along with it
Longer…longing
To undress you from your name
To call you mine. And to dress
Your nudity with my hands…
My eyes. And to call you
By your primitive self…by the words
The gods used; the language of the first earth
When you were molded from dust and air.
Where, now, do you take breath.
In what shape do you love.
I want. I want to swallow your
Smile silently…and to borrow
Your red lips with mine.
You speak in tongues to my single
Understanding…that I try to
Decipher with my hands
Around your waist…the East and
West of the only world that
Matters to me. Oh to travel
And touch…to trip from curve
To curve and send postcards
From my heart to yours.
Your eyes always introduce
Songs of virgin angels that
Rescue me from my own fire
With tears that fall unevenly
In a race to quench the sorrow
Of my wanting to know you…
To know that it is only yourself
You love. And I, only your sun
For a day…a moment…
Tomorrow’s
Memory…a souvenir of your once…
Once upon a time; a story you
Will tell your children
To teach
