Firstly, this book is dedicated to the Lord, for overseeing my every step, leading me through the trials of life and being my savior and guiding light. I want to also dedicate this book to my mother, Janis. Although the Lord saw it fit to take her from this world early, when I was merely seven years old, she is always in my heart and at the forefront of all my endeavors. History and Origin

Alapaha River in the state of Georgia, USA

The earliest existence of the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog (ABBB) pronounced (A-lap-uh-ha) was made known by Mrs. Lana Lou Lane of Rebecca, Georgia. Mrs. Lane’s breeding program started back in the 1970’s. The Alapaha River flows through that region of South Georgia. Hence, is how she derived the name: Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog.
