Saving St Helena

New funding to save the precious forests of St Helena is great news for wildlife. The UK Overseas Territory in the South Atlantic Ocean is one of the world’s most remote inhabited islands, where misty mountaintops are cloaked in ancient cloud forests. A government-funded restoration project will restore the lush natural habitats and protect the unique species that live there, including blushing snails, giant daisies that evolved into trees and glow-in-the-dark woodlice.
