The Amazing Afterlife of Animals - Karen A. Anderson
Foreword
by Dr. Annie Kagan
Author of the international bestselling book,
" The Afterlife of Billy Fingers:
How My Bad-Boy Brother Proved to Me
There ’ s Life After Death "
I ’ ve always loved animals: cats, dogs, elephants, horses, tigers and, okay, not really snakes. So several years ago I went to a talk given by an animal communicator. I didn ’ t really know what that was, but it sounded good. She had all kinds of photos of animals responding to her: elephants bowing, touching her head with theirs, horses kissing her face, a harbor seal lying in her lap on a beach in California. Very impressive.
So when my cat, Johnny Angel, was having problems, I searched for an animal communicator.
A mutual friend suggested that I contact Karen Anderson. When I called Karen to make an appointment, she asked if I was the Annie Kagan who was the author of The Afterlife of Billy Fingers: How My Bad Boy Brother Proved to Me There ’ s Life After Death.
When I confirmed that I was, Karen excitedly told me that my book was one of her favorites. She also believes our loved ones exist on the Other Side, sending us signs, letting us know they are around and continuing their journey until we meet again. Karen loved the story, especially how I doubted that my dead brother Billy was real and not imagined; how Billy kept sending me signs and messages that were so precise, so remarkable, they provided concrete proof of his existence. Even when I tried not to believe it, Billy left me with no doubt that the tour of the afterlife he was taking me on was real. We indeed are all divine eternal beings.
Karen also confided that she had the ability to speak with animals that had gone over to the Other Side. This didn ’ t seem out of the realm of possibilities to me, since I believe our pets are souls and we meet them in the afterlife.
My session with Karen was awesome in so many unpredictable ways. She gave me messages directly from Johnny Angel, as if he was talking to me, telling me things that no one but he and I would understand. Within a few minutes I was crying. Karen couldn ’ t fully grasp the significance of the messages she communicated, but I certainly did. Through Karen, I understood that Johnny was feeling less important than my other two cats, who were both adopted before him. Once I was aware of what he was feeling, he and I solved the problem quickly.
After my session, Karen asked if I would read her book, The Amazing Afterlife of Animals. Because she helped my kitty so much, I agreed. At that point I didn ’ t know I was in for quite a treat. From the touching account of her childhood experience with a dove, to her fascinating path to becoming an animal psychic, to her invaluable wisdom about our beloved pets, amazing marvelousness jumps from the pages of her inspiring book.
Karen will take your relationship with your pets, on this side and the next, to new horizons!

T here is an electricity in the air these days, and I think it reflects a difference that is occurring in this era — a greater openness, it would seem, to the unseen forces that influence us.
I know a lot about this particular development, because for years I was involved in the greatly limiting if you don ’ t see it, it doesn ’ t exist
school of thought, which scientists, including psychologists like myself, used to spend so much of their time on.
Increasingly, this is not the case today. I myself, for example, am not the cautious realistic
person that I was in the days when I taught at Princeton University and pretended to be just a hard scientist
when there was much more to me than that. Much of this change has had to do with the passing of my very dear pet cat, Dandy, who left this earth on Good Friday of
