This book, Nuclear Prayers that Blast the Devil: A Spiritual Weapons Handbook, replaces a work previously published by Whitaker House as Spiritual Weapons Handbook: A Collection of Prayers, Declarations, and Teachings to Blast the Devil. Gail Winter Publishing has since purchased all the rights and inventory of that edition.

As the inventory of the original edition was exhausted, it became necessary to reprint the book for further distribution. This situation presented the perfect opportunity to reorganize the book as this author initially intended.

The work on this book began as early as 2009. This author has grown and matured in the Lord as you would expect. Thus, I wish to include the revelations inspired by the Holy Spirit since its original publication. Consequently, significant new content has been added.

The primary intent of the book remains intact in this work. However, some of its contents have been rearranged or rewritten for clarification.

I pray that you are blessed in every way as you learn to walk in your authority as a believer in Christ Jesus.

Raymond is and always has been my best friend and companion. We have gone through some incredible challenges, but we learned what real commitment is during them. Ephesians 3:20 describes in part our praises to our Lord and Savior for all He has done and continues to do in our family and ministry: "Never doubt God's mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you" (TPT).

Nuclear Prayers that Blast the Devil began as a handbook I compiled for my personal use when ministering to others. Because I frequently pray for many people concerning various areas of their lives, it became necessary to bring together the Scriptures and materials I used in a single resource for easy access when ministering to people.

As a teacher, I regularly gave out faith declaration cards and other handouts in my classes. These tools proved invaluable. Believers learned to overcome the adversities in their lives by meditating on and speaking aloud scriptures and scriptural concepts from the Word of God. These believers began asking for additional copies to give to their family and friends. The next logical step was to make this material available in a user-friendly format.

Another consideration for publishing Nuclear Prayers that Blast the Devil was the need to teach people how to believe God for themselves. It is of minimal benefit for people to get healed if they do not know how to stay healed! One must learn to think right and speak right consistently to stay healed!

When I minister to people, it is simply not feasible to spend two or three hours teaching them the principles of believing God's Word and receiving answers to their prayers, nor is it realistic to instruct them in their covenant rights as believers to build their faith in a short amount of time.

Instead, I have made available this resource of scriptures and Scripture-based declarations so that believers can renew their minds and learn to think as God thinks. The result is the continued manifestation of healing, victory, or other answers to prayer.

Introduction

When you were born again, you were born into a royal family. The King of kings and Lord of lords adopted you into His family, and now you can enjoy all the rights and privileges associated with royalty. You now have access to a royal inheritance! Would you like to know how to receive and enjoy that inheritance? Let me show you!

Affirming God's Word sincerely, by faith, will strengthen your faith and enable you to lay claim to your inheritance as a believer. If you affirm—that is, respeak—God's Word each day, it will get into your spirit man. As a result, you will change your world!

Knowing and trusting God's promises change everything in our lives. We must believe that God cannot lie; if He said it in His Word, it is ours if we abide in Him and receive those promises by faith.

Nuclear Prayers that Blast the Devil is a collection of confessions, biblical affirmations, and scriptural principles to help deepen your faith, resulting in a wall of protection that the enemy cannot penetrate!

Even though this handbook is based on Scripture and includes many biblical references and paraphrases, it is meant to complement your Bible, not replace it. You should study the whole counsel of the Word of God. Acts 17:11 admonishes us to examine the Scriptures carefully to ensure that what we are taught is accurate. It is every believer's responsibility to research the Word of God for themselves and never accept any doctrine without validating it against the Bible in context.

Nuclear Prayers that Blast the Devil can be used as a springboard for your own search for answers from the Word of God. Ideally, you should use a well-respected study Bible alongside this handbook to find additional Scriptures that address your needs. A good cross-reference Bible is also essential to develop sound doctrine.

Nuclear Prayers that Blast the Devil should not be used as a ritual—a mere babbling of Scriptures to find a magic formula. The prayers and Scripture-based declarations included in this handbook can never substitute for a close and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.

It's About Relationship

Your relationship with the Father and personal revelation from the Holy Spirit are more important than anything else in this life. Having a personal relationship with Father God is essential to answered prayer and living in victory.

Before you can effectively blast the devil out of your life, you must get to know Father God and seek to understand His great love for you. The apostle Paul was determined to get to know the Father intimately. He wrote, "[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him]…that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death" (Philippians 3:10 AMP).

Imitate Paul's determination. Fall in love with Jesus. Express your appreciation to the Holy Spirit for His presence and guidance. It really is all about relationships! Your purpose should be to seek His face, not His hand.

Part 1: How to Use This Handbook

How to Use This Handbook

The first order of business is to become very familiar with the Table of Contents. It should be the first place you turn to when a situation requires earnest, effective prayer. Freely highlight, underline, and dog-ear pages and chapters in the TOC until you learn the layout of the handbook and where your go-to spiritual weapons are located.

Part 2 will teach you how to develop intimacy with the Father, and part 3 includes spiritual warfare weapons you should regularly use in your prayer life. You will find them an integral part of your time with the Lord each day and will appreciate being able to find these sections easily.

The power of words, the authority of the believer, and the power of the blood of Jesus are three topics dear to this author's heart and epitomize the purpose of Speak His Word Ministries. Therefore, revelation knowledge of parts 4, 5, and 6 is vital to understanding the scriptural basis of the rest of the handbook.

Part 7 is a topical guide to nuclear strategies arranged alphabetically to address many of your needs. Find the topic(s) that relate to your battle and use those scriptures and biblical declarations to speak to your situation. When the pressures of life come knocking at your door or come crashing in like a flood, you will have a concise compilation of scriptures that will target your problem and keep your thinking straight.

Consistency Is Key

Be consistent in your prayer time, but do not get in a rut. Begin each day by inviting the Holy Spirit and worshipping and adoring the Father and Jesus. Likewise, it is very important to apply the blood of protection over your family and loved ones daily, not out of fear but out of awareness that the devil has come to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10). You must let the devil know that you will not allow his destruction in your life and your loved ones!

Some days, you may be short on time for your prayer time. When this is the case, refer directly to Nuclear Weapons in a Nutshell and Psalm 23: A Guide for Praise and Worship Using the Redemptive Names of Jehovah. (Place a tab on these pages to locate them quickly.) These declarations cover several vital points in just a sentence or two. Spend several minutes every day declaring who you are in Christ. Doing so will keep you grounded and increase your confidence in the integrity of God's Word.

Personalize It

Make these prayers and confessions your own! Throughout the handbook, I repeatedly say, You can pray something like this, or You can use this as a pattern. The handbook can be a guide until you are familiar with the Scriptures to use your own words.

The Bible was written to you! This handbook aims to teach you to personalize the Scriptures for your particular needs. In most cases, I have used the pronouns we, us, and our because I always include all my family when I pray. You may wish to say I and me instead.

Meditation Brings Revelation

Biblical meditation must be based on the Word of God. Psalm 1:1–2 says, But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night.

The Hebrew meaning of meditates¹ in verse 2 is to reflect; to moan; to mutter; to ponder; to imagine; to contemplate something as one repeats the words. True biblical meditation involves speaking scriptures and biblical principles out loud and then pondering and meditating on them. It is the process whereby the thoughts in our heads become lodged in our hearts. Similarly, meditating on ungodly, evil thoughts or images are established in the heart, negatively affecting our life and character.

Biblical meditation is not emptying our minds as taught in Eastern religions—quite the opposite! Christian meditation involves filling our minds with the Word of God.

Do not halfheartedly read the Scriptures and faith declarations. Instead, read them aloud and then meditate on each one. As you do this, the Word of God will get into your spirit and will become revelation knowledge to you. Then you will be able to speak His Word in faith without hesitation when situations arise in your life. It is better to read and meditate on only one or two Scriptures at a time than to read twenty chapters with no revelation knowledge.

Pray The Will Of God

Faith can only begin where the will of God is known! In other words, it is simply impossible to believe God for something that you are not entirely convinced that it is His will for you. For example, if you are not confident that God desires the sick to be healed all of the time, you cannot pray with confidence that your prayers for healing will be answered.

Likewise, you cannot pray with any assurance that God will take care of our material needs if you do not understand that "my God shall supply all my need [every time] according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). For that reason, many topics in this handbook include a short teaching that will increase your understanding of God's will for you.

When you pray the Word of God, you are praying for exactly what God desires. You never have to be concerned that you are praying for anything outside of the will of God.

Build Your Wall

It is essential to speak the Word every day as a preventative measure. Every time you speak the Word, it is like building a wall of protection around you and your loved ones. Brick by brick, the wall rises, and with each brick, you are more able to "withstand the wiles of the devil" (Ephesians 6:11).

Memorize at least two scripture for every area of life so that you can speak the Word of God instantly in any given situation. Start with the faith-building scriptures.

Don't let crisis take you by surprise! You must be prepared before the storm arrives; otherwise, you will speak words of fear and doubt instead of faith. Wrong words will result in an unwanted outcome, even tragedy.

Your First Words Matter

The first words out of your mouth reveal what's in your heart and will very likely determine the situation's outcome. Luke 6:45 states, "Out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks." Therefore, you must put more Word than the world in your heart for the Word to come out of your mouth first.

Daily speaking the Word will also cause you to be more sensitive and alert to the plans and schemes of the enemy. The Holy Spirit will quicken your spirit that your adversary, the devil, is looking for an open door to attack you or your loved ones. Immediately declaring the Word of God to the enemy with authority will often stop him in his tracks before the attack becomes full-blown. Building immunity to the enemy's attacks is the most remarkable reward of biblical affirmations!

Final Authority

One of the most crucial faith principles you can learn is how to make the Word of God the final authority in your life. Making God's Word final authority means believing what God says instead of what other people say. It means believing what God says instead of what your circumstances scream. Make up your mind today to live by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Fearlessly commit to the authority of God's Word; let what God's Word says about your situation settle the matter. Only then will you be confident when others are confused, peaceful when others fall apart, and victorious when others are caving in to pressure. If you do that, you will find stability when everything else around you is turned upside down.

Blast The devil

When the devil launches his attacks, threats, lies, or accusations, you need to respond immediately with scriptures from the Word of God. Before the enemy can get a foothold, begin to blast the devil by speaking Scriptures aloud, which pertain to your situation.

Quoting Scripture is precisely how Jesus silenced Satan's temptations in the wilderness. You too will silence Satan's assaults by verbalizing God's Word. You must blast the devil with the Word at the first sign of a symptom or pain!
