Confronted with the knowledge of Satan's most recent schemes to lay claim to the earth, God finds himself with the inevitability of having to take immediate action. With his leading military officials insisting that he himself make his presence known on earth, God settles on an alternative solution, still not yet convinced that the time had come for his return. Taking care in his selection of the angels and archangels that would be dispersed throughout the world to fight off their ever-challenging enemy, God finds himself with the difficult decision of who to send and to where to combat the most recent attacks against his people. As he begins to assign and delegate the teams of his most trusted angels, he is faced with initial opposition from some of his longstanding warriors when he assigns one of his youngest angels to be a part of the team that is sent to fight against one of Satan's demon generals, a demon who is only second-in-command and strength to the rest and one whose motives are marked against the innocence and protection of God's beloved children. Could Little Lu be the answer to defeat the demon general and save God's children? And if she were, how could one of the smallest angels, one who is untested in spiritual warfare of this magnitude, succeed in the task that she is being sent to do?

Despite the valiant efforts of God’s heavenly army and the guardian angels sent to protect humanity, the evil that plagued the earth continued to resurface and spread. The growing concern of God’s military force and those assigned to fight this ever-challenging spiritual war made cause for a gathering of God’s council to implore him to intervene.

Surrounded by the presence of the most elite members of his divine hierarchy of spirits and angels pleading their imminent concerns to him, God remained silent. As he listened to their recommendations, he continually evaluated the consequences of what his ultimate decision would elicit. Finally, having been goaded by his leading military officials, he knew that the time for response was at hand.

With many of his commanders calling out to him, My Lord, the time to act is now! The threat of evil grows stronger as we speak! If we do nothing, we will be overcome!

Turning to his general, now walking up to him, eager to divulge his intel, God asked, What do you say of this? You who is on the frontlines of this war, how do you assess my need to act?

My Lord, the threat has grown, as you are aware. They have become more deceptive in their defenses. In recent years, their deceitfulness and manipulation of human weakness has made a way for them to remain grounded by feeding on the souls of their human hosts. In ages past, your great army could fend off the demons from entering the earth’s realm. Now due to the nature of the violence, hatred and prejudices spreading throughout the world their powers have increased. Our most recent threat has been a band of brother demons chosen by Satan to prepare a way for him to enter earth. These adversaries have cunningly surpassed our spiritual defenses and have been gaining power daily. My concern aligns with that of many of my peers standing here today. If we do nothing, it may be near impossible to succeed in this war.

We have seen others in Satan’s command find ways to ground themselves on earth. We have been successful in the past in ridding humanity of their chaos. Why can’t we now? God asked, still not convinced of what they are asking him to do.

My God, their strategies have evolved. In ages past, those we fought served as independent agents, rogue agents of Satan if you will. They acted solely out of their own volition and hunger for power. What I believe, and what many of us here believe, is that this new regime of demon agents is a part of a strategic war effort to open a doorway for Satan to enter earth’s realm. Now calling God’s attention to a charted map of the world, with all in attendance anxiously looking on in anticipation of direction to act, his general continued, We have been tracking the most recent movements of what we believe to be those in this regime. They have been dispersed throughout the world. While directing their focus to various locations, he continued, What we are seeing in these locations are significant increases in violence, hatred, prejudice, murder, and overall callous disregard for the sanctity of human life.

Now having taken notice of Petty Wyn as she made her way around her riled peers to offer her recommendation based on her knowledge of the Guardian missions, he asked, Is this how your Guardians have reported this threat? Have they not been able to be successful in their attempts?

In consideration of the gravity of the recent course of events, Petty Wyn responded, We still have been successful in many, but the increasing demands, I fear my God, are close to superseding our resources. The Guardians, although valiant in their efforts, have exhausted much of what we can accommodate.

I see, God responded before standing in a momentary silence, appearing to be lost in profound thought as he processed the information his council had set before him.

Another recruiter and a captain in God’s heavenly army, Donwarl, implored him, My Lord, we must act! You have to make your presence known to your people before this threat overwhelms us!

Have you no hope in yourselves then and in me to follow through with what I ask of you? God demanded. There are rules set in place we all must abide by. My power can only be accessed when the conditions arise that so warrant it.

With all due respect, my Lord, the time for honoring the rules had ended when the demons surpassed the spiritual realm and inseminated themselves into their human hosts, continuing to infect those that they come in contact with feeding on their fears and temptations. Is it not your laws that govern this pact? Surely you have the power to amend this! These humans that you so love and protect are the very ones submitting themselves to your enemies!

Knowing well that his indecision to directly act on earth to fend off the evil that has attempted to lay claim to it created unrest, God assured his council, You have served me well, Donwarl, as all of you standing before me. Although I hold your concerns and recommendations to the highest regard, I am not convinced that now is the time to reveal myself. Satan himself has not yet been successful in his attempt to stand ground on the earth. He remains still bound by the laws that govern this battle.

Responding to God’s last statement, in an attempt to make him fully understand the pressure of what they face, his general Michael used the most significant of his findings to conclude their case. My Lord, in these locations exists the paramount of lost souls trapped on earth. They are unable to ascend to you in heaven because their fears of their captors outweigh their trust in your light, but they have also been unable to descend to Satan in hell. What we believe is that Satan and his army are feeding on their fears even after their mortality is taken from them. They appear to be serving as a bridge against you for the purposes of Satan. As their numbers grow, the chances of our success in this diminish without your direct involvement.

Michael, in the centuries that you have served me by protecting my people from those that seek to do them harm, I have heeded your advice many times. I understand the implications of our failure to choose the right course of action, but do you believe yourself that there is no other way to defeat this enemy?

My God, I know all things through you are possible, and there is a small chance for us to defeat this regime before Satan can exact his domain on earth. Each sect outlined on this map is led by one or more of the demon brothers. If we could be successful in targeting and executing them, their influence on the humans will begin to falter. But, my God, the ability to isolate and destroy each will not be an easy feat. Their disguises and deceptions make them near inaccessible. There are two generals in this regime that appear to be the strongest if we can track them and defeat them, the odds would then be more in our favor. Our intel has been following the lesser of the two demon generals throughout North America and has been able to narrow their search to a remote location in the United States where we believe him to be.

My answer then, God said, now addressing the council, whom shall we send and to where?

It is imperative that you know, my God, Petty Wyn interjected, my Guardians serving you in this area have had many failed attempts at singling him out. His location we know is remote, and his target, my Lord, is children. This particular location has a dark history regarding the disappearance of children, and now it seems the attack against them has returned. There have been many new reports of missing and abused children in this area. It is a most delicate case.

Infuriated by the exploitation of innocent children on earth, God studied the map before him and began to develop his plan. Calling now to the archangel Gabriel, his messenger, he directed, Gabriel, go to earth and seek out Jarrik Aldeaus. He has rested long enough. Tell him that it is my will for him to locate the two demon generals and assist in the eradication of each, beginning with the one that has enslaved my children.

As you command, my Lord, I shall return with the news of our encounter when I have completed this task. Making haste to act upon what he had been called to do, Gabriel made his descent to earth in search of God’s tracker.

Now calling upon his general, God commanded, Michael, make ready my army. Alert the watchmen of the potential for an attack. Assemble now with your captains to organize an outline of the geographical locations of the demon regimes in order of their significance. I will decide the teams of angels allowed to go to earth depending on their experience and abilities. It is imperative, Michael, that no other demon crosses over onto earth. I have faith in your ability to fight them off. The time has come to expand my army. Let all of heaven be alerted to the danger at bay. Once you and your captains have provided me with the information that I have requested, gather with the guardian recruiters to enlist more souls to assist you in our defense. Although most are untested in battle, impress upon them the urgency of what stands before us.

While his council set out in accordance with what God had commanded them to do, Petty Wyn approached God now looking down on the earth once again. My God, my Guardians await your final decision. What should I tell them so that they may be prepared?

Assemble your Guardians now. When I have finalized my strategy, I will decide and let them know to where they will be sent. For now, I have a task for you and one of your Guardians. Seek out Trinity and bring her to me. I must speak with you both. Go now, for our time is limited.

I will return promptly, my Lord, Petty Wyn responded, unaware of what he would require of them.

Although initially intended to be an emergent, secretive matter, it wasn’t long before all of heaven learned about the impending threat that called the meeting to order. The Guardians, aware of the nature of the meeting, having in recent years near exhausted their efforts trying to persuade humanity to follow God’s light, assembled to prepare themselves for whatever the decision of their Lord would be. While they waited, they were left with mere assumptions of what actions lied ahead.

Having partaken in numerous missions to earth in the past few years since her very first trial, Trinity, although still remaining steadfast in her abilities to carry out God’s will, shared in her peers’ unease arising from their uncertainty of the issue at hand.

Does anyone know why they called a council meeting? Sarah asked.

I’ve heard tell of another battle coming, Kellan responded.

Well, would it really surprise any of us? We all know how difficult our missions have been. Some of our successes have come at great cost and were barely attained, Julius added, having been commissioned to the heart of some of the most detrimental of missions.

Well, what I want to know is how long before we develop a new plan. The evil is spreading, and we are running out of resources, either they recruit more Guardians or God himself will have to intervene, Ruth stated, feeling as disheartened by their recent encounters as the others.

Maybe that’s what the meeting is about, Sarah offered. I, too, overheard some of the recruiters talking about the war and its affects, suggesting God’s direct involvement.

Everything is just speculation at this point. All we seem to be doing is creating more anxiety discussing it, Kellan asserted, trying to redirect their focus continuing by saying, No matter what the decision of God and the council, we must be ready to act.

As their peers continued to theorize about the specifics of the council meeting, Lulu found her way to Trinity, sitting at a table close to her friends, and climbed up into her lap. Trinity, what do you think is happening?

I don’t know, Lu, but whatever it is, Kellan is right. We can’t make ourselves worry until we know for sure. We will have to wait for word when Petty Wyn returns to us. But no matter what, we will just have to trust God’s plan.

Not having to wait long for her arrival, the Guardians’ attention was soon commanded by Petty Wyn as she entered where they were gathered. Knowing her intent to clarify their assumptions and direct their next actions, the Guardians’ conversations quickly halted, and their focus remained on their superior.

I know that you all are eager to have me share what I have learned from the council meeting and what direction that I am supposed to give you, Petty Wyn began. I must begin by telling you that the council is fully aware and grateful for the works that you have done on earth with the humans. It is no secret that your tasks have become increasingly difficult, and you all have had times that your abilities to succeed with your intended outcomes have been tested. I will not lie to you and tell you that what you will soon be required to do will be easy. But I know all of you sitting before me individually as does God. We know what you are all capable of and are confident in what you will soon be called to do.

Is it true? The talk of another battle, this time on earth? Kellan asked as he and the others sat anxious to learn the details.

I fear the rumors that have been circulating are true in that Satan has advanced in his schemes. There is a new, stronger, increasingly deceptive regime of demons that have been able to cross over past the spiritual realm onto earth, attaching themselves to their human hosts, gathering as many other lost souls as possible, trapping them, feeding daily from their fears. Our concern is that they are trying to create a passageway for Satan to enter earth directly, Petty Wyn answered as the Guardians now began to whisper amongst themselves. Some of you have come in close contact with members of this regime but were unable to find them and call them out, which will be necessary for us to do. We must isolate and pull them from their host body in order to defeat them.

Petty Wyn, what will this mean for us? Where will we be sent to go then? Sarah asked. What resources will we be given if any at all?

As we speak, God’s military leaders are developing an outline of geographical locations where we believe the demons are located. They will also be recruiting more souls for God’s heavenly army so that they maintain as impenetrable as a barrier between the spirit world and earth as possible. I cannot tell you at this point where each of you will be assigned until God has finalized his plan.

What does that mean for the humans throughout the world that aren’t a part of where we will be sent but are still in need of our help? Ruth asked.

"I understand your concern, Ruth. At this time, the Guardians that are still on earth that have not yet completed their missions will remain and be reassigned as needed. For those of you sitting before me today, your missions will be solely for the purposes of this battle. We must succeed in this. The safety and protection of all of God’s people on earth are dependent
