YOUR HELPFUL HINTS ARE WAITING
Are you interested in getting some helpful hints to your inbox? As I’m sure you are aware, authors, bloggers and small business owners are encouraged to give away a free book or item to encourage people to join their mailing lists.
My books are different - they solve a problem. Just because you picked up one of my books doesn’t mean you want a free book on a completely different topic. Because of this, I offer subscribers to my mailing list, free help - usually in the form of blog posts. I also let everyone know about new releases and helpful tidbits that will make your job easier.
If this sounds like something you would be interested in, join me at: http://bakerviewconsulting.com/reader-list/
All that being said, if you are interested in some free books, 5 of my books are available for free from all major retailers. They are listed on the above linked page. My background is that of a teacher of science – a subject that has a lot of foreign sounding words. I always include a glossary in my books to help with the understanding of all the new words you will learn in my books. Find the glossary at the end of this book.
PREFACE
Hi There! Thank you for considering one of my books. My name is Barb Drozdowich and I come from a background as a teacher and technical trainer. I’ve worked in the author world for just over 10 years. I’ve hosted webinars in person and online. I’ve addressed audiences all over North America. I’ve taught authors one on one – explaining topics that they find challenging.
I recently had a brain tumor removed. What a shocker! Although I hope to live for many more years and drive my husband batty, it occurred to me that I have a lot of content that I’ve never published. The content is either books that I started as a NANO project and got distracted or bits and pieces of content that were waiting for me to organize into books or in-person presentations that I’ve shared widely within my local author community.
Now that I’m not working according to the orders of the doc, I find I have a lot of downtime between radiation treatments and immunotherapy. We’ll see how many more projects I can finish in whatever time I have remaining – hopefully, years :)
I look forward to comments from readers. I am always interested in how my efforts are received. I hope you learn a lot from this book and go on to sell a lot of the books you have written.
I can be reached through my website – http://barbdrozdowich.com
INTRODUCTION
My name is Barb Drozdowich. I'm the author of 27 books, with most of them focused on the technical needs of authors. My day job is serving as a technical virtual assistant to authors.
What does that actually mean? It means that I either teach or do a lot of the technical tasks that authors either don't want to
