    Castle Trouble!

W hat a catastrophe! Exclaimed Princess Amelie. There was an angry crash of thunder as a rainstorm pounded down outside, hitting the windows hard. The rain was so heavy that it began trickling through the roof and leaking into the castle. Before long, there were rivers of water flowing down the walls.

My castle is so old that it is crumbling, and it won't last another winter. Princess Amelie cried as she watched the rain flood into her castle.

The next day, there was a knock at the door, and Princess Amelie welcomed three maintenance specialists into the castle.

My, my! One of them exclaimed, taking a look around the once magnificent castle. This roof is very leaky.

We can fix the roof, said the second repairman.

But it'll be expensive! said the third excitedly. But he was quickly quietened by a glare from the first repairman.

Shh! Don't mention the price! Whispered the first repairman.

I'm going to leave it with you, and I'll take a trip to see my sister in Swansea. After three days, I will be back, and I will throw a great party to celebrate. Princess Amelie replied, excited at the prospect that she would finally have her castle restored to its original glory.

How long do we have to fix the roof? the repairmen asked.

Three days exactly! The princess replied before she hastened to pack her suitcases and left the castle, leaving the three repairmen in her wake.

The men got to work straight away, but the castle roof had holes all over it. They worked all day and all night, but they hadn't even finished half of the job.

We're never going to finish on time! Said one repairman, throwing a wrench down.

We have to finish it! There's a party in three days, said the other, scratching his head.

Tick tock went the clock. Time was rapidly running out.

It's nearly time for the party, and we haven't finished the work. Said the repairman.

The men had no idea how they would complete it on time. Then they heard a rat-tat-tat at the window. The men spun around to see a tiny fairy. She was about the flower's size and looked as delicate as one, her small wings fluttering rapidly behind
