I once found carnival tickets dumpster-diving for aluminum cans, so I put on a neighborhood carnival. At age nine I ran paper routes. Making money as a kid set me up for life. I learned the ability to work, be a self starter, and appreciate new ideas. I learned at a young age the concepts of work ethic and how to make money. Now, my nieces and nephews come to me to make money. 2. When going door to door, bring a cell phone and make sure to always keep your parents updated as to where you are.

3. Never go in a home without letting your parents know what house number and street you are at.

4. Make sure to check in frequently so your parents know you are safe.

5. Have your parents check with your local city for needed permits, licenses, etc.

6. Keep track of any money spent for materials.

7. Keep track of all time spent planning, preparing, and working your money making idea.
