From obsessing over our own physical attributes to seeking out partners based on their looks, we are valuing surface-level appearances over deeper emotional connections.

This focus on sex vanity can have serious consequences for our relationships and overall well-being. In this chapter, we will explore the selfish motivations behind sex vanity and how it can undermine the intimacy and honesty that make sex truly meaningful.
