There was a parrot once.
I used to wonder how he saw the world. Wondered, what would it be like, how would it be, to be that parrot, to see as he sees, feel as he feels? What does he see? What does he feel? Does he have a parrot philosophy, a parrot type code? Does he look forward to tomorrow or regret yesterday? Does he remember his kind, does he miss them, want to love them? What is his life, how does he feel? A parrot, a being, alive all the time, trapped in a cage,
What if you unlocked that cage?
A man decided to help
A man decided to help.
He got no reward or feeling inside,
Still, he helped.
Still he felt nothing,
Nothing at all.
Still he helped,
Still empty, no feeling.
Still he pressed on,
Why? Why would he help?
I don’t know.
I only know that he helped,
And kept
