About this ebook

My daughter, CK encouraged me to read novels, and I did so on a daily basis as I awaited complete recovery. I had no idea that God was calling me to anything more than simply writing my book. This isn't only my narrative; it's also the tale of how my heavenly Father came to me when I was at my lowest and helped me begin the journey of recovery. This book is dedicated to my daughter CK and her father Arnel for being my pillar of strength; to my eldest brother James, who never stops encouraging me and offering me spiritual guidance, as well as to my dearest sister Angeli for her unconditional love. and lastly to my Pike's family for their unending support and prayers. I wrote this book as a tribute to my beloved late parents.

    My Life Began

Pain makes you stronger and transforms you into a different level of resilience

Almost everyone in the world seems to consider turning Big-O significant. Nothing compares to your golden years. They lavishly celebrate it with their relatives and friends because it is genuinely extraordinary to reach 50 years of age.

My 50th birthday was on June 22nd, 2021, and I was lost. What did I do to honor my golden years? Some of the issues that can stump you are these. But I did get another year, and that’s how my story started.

The most horrifying tie of my life happened in the year 2020. When everything was unknown, everyone panicked, all businesses were on lockdown, and nobody knew what the future contained. Fear started to spread among youngsters, the elderly, and the general public as soon as the explicable plague reached the planet. Yes, I did not know what my future held, either.

The longest I missed from work may have been the 15th of Septemberr when I requested a medical absence. There is no set time when I can return to work. I was crying, powerless, afraid, and hopeful in the darkest chamber. I have faith that I will recover from this experience stronger the next time and that in three months, I will be back where I was. But I was mistaken; my idea fell through. You must be wondering what happened to me by this point. Am I susceptible to the virus? No, I wasn’t, but I believe we all go through uncomfortable times in life at different times. I was one of them going through an awkward time in my life.

I loved going to the gym before the pandemic. My home became the gym. It evolved into my haven where I could unwind after a long week of work and deal with stress. Panic sets in as soon as the pandemic appears on the news and our television screens. Because the school she attended in New York had to take precautions for the kids’ safety, my daughter CK, who was wrapping up the semester in another country, was forced to return home quickly.

It began in June, a few weeks after my birthday, while I engaged in different physical activities. I was exercising online using my all-time favorite workout, Zumba. I did it every day because I loved the music and the steps. I’ve completed the 30-day challenge with CK. I was capable and strong. Then my back began to hurt, but I initially dismissed it as a minor muscular spasm that would pass quickly. I tried to perform yoga with some stretching and a little amount of
