About this ebook
Life's changing race
A little book of wisdom to help you face a scary future
We face an unknown future and it scares us. The question we carry is how do you prepare yourself, your children and even your company for the great unknown? Is there a way to gather wisdom to adapt to this future rushing towards us while keeping those things that are truly worth keeping?
A little mountain village in Asia that is being torn apart by these unknown and changing times shows us how to do it. It feels the pain of their youth losing their way and they decide to do something about it. The People of the Sky develop a Race that they hope will prepare their people for the future. They take the risk and the Village is slowly transformed. Watch and learn from them as they discover how to train people for an unknown future in the City.
Tomorrow's world is unknowably different from the world we live in today. Are you willing to take the risk necessary to succeed? It can change your family, your business and even the world.

A View from On Top
One evening, four friends got together to watch the sun set from the Flight Bar and Lounge at the Marina Bay Sands. It had a spectacular view of Singapore’s skyline.
They had all done their Master’s work together in Singapore and had become good friends. They had gone their own ways in these last years, and by some strange turn of events, all ended up in Singapore on the same weekend. They found themselves in a reflective mood as they looked over the city, slowly turning on its lights below them.
Kwan stated, This city, my city, should not even exist. It has no natural resources and no capacity to feed itself. Fifty years ago you would have been insane to think about seeing this view before you.
Mark glanced at him, nodding. He pondered out loud, The unknown future... unfortunately, I know that feeling well. I may lose my job because there is a new company in China that can produce a similar product as ours for half the price, and we can’t compete.
May responded, We recently lost our King in Thailand. He was a good man and served seventy years. We don’t know what is going to happen next. Also my parents are getting older and I am not sure how to help them.
Esther looked at May and said, Funny we are talking about all this, as I have been working in the financial district in London, and Brexit has shaken us to the core. We are not sure what is going to happen next, and as a result I don’t know what my job will look like in a couple of years, or even if I will have one.
Mark declared, We just elected Trump as President in the US, and no one in politics saw that coming. It is a whole new world, and the future is clearly unknown.
As they sat and watched the sun sink
