INTRODUCTION

y name is Josias Mwanaume. I’m 21 years old, and all my life has been just a testimony to glorify God. At ten years old, I came straight into the sitting room at night, having decided to take a week of fasting and only drink tea at 6 pm.

You may ask yourself why a 10-year-old kid wants to fast for a week; yes, I got many people saying, you are not going to make it just because you are still young. A life of devotion can be a breakthrough in your life today, as it was for me 11 years ago. At my tender age, I was first inspired by my dad, who was also in his room locked up praying; then I asked myself why Dad always prayed, and every day Mum would tell us that Dad was fasting. So, I decided to pray like my dad and see if I am a man of prayer or if my entire life was created to be a man of prayer. From that time onward, in that hot room, my life changed into a prayer warrior.

That was the shocker to release the person I am today: preacher, prayer warrior, gospel author, and lover of God and His people. All these kinds of stuff were holding on to me, waiting for how me to shock them out, and that was through prayer and supplication. Reading God’s word helps my everyday life with answers to my daily questions. The question is simple, as well as the solution If God released my gifts 11 years ago.

Why wouldn’t He release yours today? The answer is: GET UP, CARRY YOUR CROSS AND FOLLOW HIM.

If you feel lazy or bored reading the Bible or spending time with the Lord, that’s okay. This book will help you grow spiritually and spend time with the Lord.
