God, the ocean breeze felt good on her skin. It had taken Mirabella and her husband almost two years of planning, hard work and saving, picking up any extra shift at work that they could get their hands on to be able to finally plan this trip. It had been something that Maribella had been wanting all her life, and now, sprawled back in a lounge chair alongside the ships pool, it almost didn’t feel real, like it was a dream that she risked waking up from at any moment. The sun felt warm on her skin, such a big contrast to the bitter bite of the Minnesotan winter.

And now, after all that hard work, all Mirabella had to do was spend the next two weeks relaxing. She wasn’t sure where Chris had gone- she assumed he was likely in the casino, and she certainly wasn’t going to fault him that.
