Warning to the Churches....: There Is No Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the Church!
Author

Ray C Pearson Sr

I was called into the ministry in my young adult years. I was brought up in church, but I found out later in life that many things that came out of the mouth of my pastors and teachers wasn’t according to the Scriptures. My spiritual eyes were open in 1988 where many Christians thought that the Rapture would occur in that year.

    Author’s Disclaimer

Due to the political correctness of today’s society; I’m not allowed to use, questionable, unwholesome, or profane language in this book. Nor am I allowed to quote verbatim the words that were spoken and the description of the events that took place in the presentation of this book. Therefore, I had to revise it, and present, for your reading a, watered- down version of the exact words spoken; and a diluted description of the events that took place.

Furthermore, I’m not allowed to use certain, exact quotations, from the King James Version of the Bible that might be offensive to some readers. An example can be found in Revelation Chapter 17:1-18 (read) where God describes the idolatrous nation of the United States of America as, "the great [expletive] that sitteth upon many waters."

In such instances, I will note: (read) and you can open your Bible and read the Scripture(s) to get the Truth of what God, our Heavenly Father, the Creator of the universe has said. Also further, due to "political correctness" of today’s culture; it’s ironic to me that people don’t want to ‘offend’ others with the truth, but they have no problem offending God with distorted and watered-down words of His Holy Book! Be as it may. It is written, "Verily, there is a reward for the righteous; verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth" (Psalm 58:11).

    Introduction

You may believe or been taught, "The Rapture of the Church could occur at any moment." This is a false doctrine and false teachings to the core! The church must go all the way through the seven (7) years of the tribulation period. Please, for your own soul’s salvation’s sake, [and those whom you are misleading] I beg of you to put away your false doctrine, belief, and teachings, and let the Bible, which is the Word of God teach you- The Truth (John 8:32; 17:17).

    Why I Wrote This Book

Because of the false teachings I’ve heard and had been taught in the past has led me to teach Bible Truth, mainly regarding the timing of the Rapture of the Church. I used to let people believe whatever they wanted to believe, and I did not go out of my way to correct their misunderstanding. However, after being called into the ministry and with my pastoral office and duty, I now have a different perspective on life; especially with the unlearned [Christians] and the unsaved.

I’ve come to realize that since God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). I question myself, Who am I that I should not warn them? Furthermore, Ezekiel said that it’s the watchman’s [pastors and teachers] duty to warn people of coming danger and judgment; otherwise, "their blood will be on [his] the watchman’s hands" (Ezekiel 33:1-9).

This false doctrine has become a ‘thorn in my flesh’; somehow, and for some reason I get irate when I hear one of those false teachers saying, The Rapture of the Church could happen at any given moment. Whenever I hear it, I immediately write them letting them know that they’re misleading God’s people. In getting the truth out I can relate to the prophet Jeremiah, who said, [the truth of God’s Word-is] as a burning fire shut up in my bones (Jeremiah 3:9).

This book exposes many of the false doctrines that’s been taught and believed among the Christian community. I have written many popular and well-known TV evangelist, pastors, teachers, and radio talk show host informing them of this false doctrine that they are propagating for Satan. [incidentally] I ‘ve stopped supporting those false teachers’ ministries! I will not mention them by name, nor will I tell what church or radio program that they are from.

I’ve warned them that their false doctrine and teachings, is a lie which Satan has planted in the churches and among believers to deceive the unlearn. If you are one of them, [Pre-trib Rapture teaches] you’ve probably received a letter from me. The Apostle Paul said that this ‘doctrine’ is the strong delusion that God will send [allow] to perpetrate the church in the End Times (2 Thess. 2:9-11).

Foremost, Jesus warned the church of the End Times deception that will be prevalent before His return. He said, For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders: insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect (Matt. 24:24). Question: How can the very elect [true believers] be deceived by those false teachers if the church is suddenly caught up in a Pre-Tribulation Rapture? Remember, the Bible says, "Whom shall He [God] teach knowledge? And whom shall He make to understand doctrine?... For precept must be upon precept;… line upon line…(Isiah 28:9,10).

This Pre-Tribulation Rapture doctrine does not line up with Scripture! There will be a succession of events to occur that will lead up to the rapture of the church which I will explain later in this book. But first, if you are one of those whom I’ve written in my many letters; I ask that you read this book and, Search the Scriptures to see if you’re teaching Bible Truth or Religious Doctrine? Note: There are two kinds of teachers in the church; Bible teachers [those who teach the written Word of God, and religious teachers, which teaches religious doctrines, i.e., man’s opinions and ideologies, etc.]

Question: Which are you? After reading this book and Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth, you will know for sure. And, if you reject the Truth of this book; remember, Jesus foresaw it, He said, But in vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men (Matt. 15:9). That is exactly what the Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the Church is- a man-made doctrine and not the ‘Rightly Divided’ Word of God! In your reading of this book, you will be surprised to learn; what the Bible really teaches on this subject.

After reading this book, some will still outright reject Bible Truth and will hold on to their religious beliefs. However, Jesus foresaw this as well. He said, "For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men,…Full well ye reject the commandment [teaching] of God that ye may keep your own tradition" (Mark 7:8,9). I believe the Lord is addressing the Pre and Mid Tribulation Rapture doctrine. Furthermore, God said, "My people [church folks] are destroyed for the lack of knowledge" [i.e., the Truth of His Word] (Hosea 4:6).

Many books have been written and many movies have been made regarding the Rapture of the Church, some entitled Left Behind which teaches the Pre-Tribulation Rapture doctrine. Truth is that the ones to be ‘left behind’ are the ones to be saved! According to the Bible, the first ones to be ‘taken’ will be taken by the Antichrist, [he’s coming first to deceive] Jesus gave us this Truth. He said, "But he that endure unto the end [of the Great Tribulation period] the same shall be saved." (Matt. 10:22; 24:13).

If you can understand plain English Jesus Christ said those who will be left behind are the ones that will be saved. Satan is good at twisting Scriptures; he started in the Garden of Eden and has continued his diabolical plan to deceive God’s people ever since. Remember, Jesus said, Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44).

If those false teachers would read and teach the Bible, without man’s finite interpretation they will learn the Truth regarding the rapture, that, John the Revelator saw the church coming out of the Great Tribulation (Rev. 7:13,14). I question this teaching: How could the church come out of the Great Tribulation if it had already been ‘caught up’ [Raptured] in a Pre -Tribulation Rapture? Also consider Rev. 2:7,11,17; Rev. 3:5,12,21; Rev. 21:7. All these passages of Scriptures talks about the Saints that overcometh i.e., holds fast to their faith during the tribulation period.

So as one can plainly see, this pre tribulation rapture doctrine is false teaching to the core! If you’re one of them, I’m not going to wish you God’s Speed the Apostle Paul said that we should not do that. By doing so, one would become ‘partakers’ of their evil deeds (Eph. 5:6,7). In obedience to this passage of scripture, I’ve stopped supporting those ministries that teaches the Big lie of a Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the Church. However, I’m following the instructions of Isiah 58:1 where he recorded that God said, Cry aloud, spare not, lift up your voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression.

Again, there are many events recorded in the Scriptures that are to occur before the rapture of the church. God is going to inflict the world with plagues and disasters to get man’s attention because, He is not willing that any should perish, but that all men might be saved (2 Peter 3:9). If anyone does perish, they will perish because of their lack of understanding [of God’s Word and their own corruption] (2 Peter 2:12; Hosea 4:6). God has provided mankind a Savior, His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ (John 3:16).

However, according to Scriptures many souls are still going to perish [in the lake of fire] because of deception, defiance, and unbelief. And if a Christian perish, it will be because they would deny the Savior during the tribulation period (Matt. 10: 32, 33). So then my friend, God has written a book, it’s called the Holy Bible. It is written "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, [in teaching His Word] thoroughly furnished [equipped] unto all good works" (2 Timothy 3:16, 17).

If you really want to know the Truth about the timing of the Rapture of the Church, and if you let the Bible speak for itself, then the Word of God will plainly explain it to you. Jesus Christ said, "Immediately after the [Great] Tribulation He would send His angels to gather [Rapture] His saints" (Matt. 24:29-31). The Apostle Paul said, "Let no man deceive you…For that day [the Rapture of the Church] shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin [the Antichrist] be revealed, the son of perdition…" (2 Thess. 2: 3,4).

Paul also declared that the rapture would occur at the" last" [7th] trumpet (1 Corinthians 15: 51,52). Therefore, I say again, if you let the Bible speak for itself, then you will, "know the truth, and the truth will make you free" of religious doctrines and man’s ideologies [emphasis mine]. It is recorded in Revelation 7:1-12 that John said the Saints, one hundred forty-four thousand Jews and a great multitude of Gentile believers [the universal church] will be sealed here on earth [for protection] during the Great Tribulation period (vs. 3). Take notice that it doesn’t say that we will be Raptured from it! Notice also verses 13 & 14, they came out of the Great Tribulation. Question: How could one come out of something that they didn’t go through? The Bible tells us that Daniel came out of the lions’ den and the three Hebrew boys came out of the fiery furnace, but first they had to go through it!

    Ray C. Pearson Sr, PASTOR,

    ETERNAL LIFE FULL GOSPEL CHURCH

    (Non -denominational) Milwaukee, WI

    CHAPTER 1

    Laying the Foundation:

I grew up in a church that taught this ‘theory’ of a Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the Church. I will not name the denomination, but you will recognize it by its teachings. As a matter of fact, you may even pastor or belong to one of them. Therefore, you will know a tree by its fruit. [Emphasis Mine]. I joined this church because I used to work with the pastor, he seemed to be an upright, sincere and devoted man of God. In my eyesight, he carried himself as, a true man of God.

I grew up without a father in the home; this pastor, in his lifestyle lived a life that I wish I could have had in my own father, of whom I could pattern my life after and that I could learn lessons in life from. So, I looked up to him as my, ‘father figure.’ I would go to him for advice about life and spiritual matters as well. He would tell me that, God has the answers to whatever problems that we have in life, but God doesn’t answer a sinner’s prayer unless the person is willing to turn his life around. He would quote St. John 9:31. He always would advise me to, give my life over to Jesus Christ and be saved from hell’s fire.

He invited me to come to church and be saved, and that I could learn to live the Christian lifestyle through Sunday school and weekly Bible studies. I joined the church on my first visit; it was a church of the same denomination that I was used to. I was comfortable with the songs, order of service and the teaching. Everyone seemed so nice, they all welcomed me, and I felt loved and appreciated. In his sermon it seemed as though he was talking directly to me, [which he probably was] warning me that, There is Eternal Life or Eternal Damnation After My Physical Death, and that, if I Die Without Accepting Jesus Christ As My Lord And Personal Savior; That I Would Have Automatically Chosen Hell Over Heaven!

He read and explained Luke 16: 19-31 as proof that, if a person dies unsaved, they will wake up in Hell! And if that person’s name was not found written in the Book of Life at the Great White Throne Judgment Seat of God: that that person would be cast into the Lake of Fire alone with the devil and his demons for all eternity! He delivered a powerful message. If I didn’t know the Lord; the dynamic presentation of his message would have probably, scared me to death! I knew about heaven and hell because I was brought up in church. My mother died when I was five years old, my father left us [nine children] with his mother in Memphis, Tennessee and he moved to Chicago, Illinois where he remarried and started another family. My grandmother was very strict, and she was a devoted church goer, she served on the usher’s board which required her to be at church regularly. She was a disciplinary, and she made sure that all the children would go to church as well.

Because of her discipline and strict house rules, all my siblings either got married early, or ran away from home. And years later only one of my sisters came back home. My grandmother passed away in 1968 five months before my sixteenth birthday. Several months before she died, she would have me to read Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." I had to read this passage of Scripture twice daily, at the breakfast table and at bedtime. I had read it so much that I memorized it; however, she wouldn’t let me just recite it, I had to read it aloud. I once asked her, why did I have to read the same Scripture every day? She said, I would understand it better by and by which I didn’t understand.

When she died, I was left with her house, all the furnishing, her life savings, and the proceeds from her life insurance policy. She had also named me as her beneficiary, and she had added my name on her bank account with instructions that; I should have access and full control of the account on my sixteenth birthday. Her house was valued at $20,000 and my total cash assets was well above $45,000.00. In 1968 that was a lot of money for an unsupervised teenager to have. I felt like a millionaire, at the economy of those days I probably was.

I never question my grandmother as to how she had accumulated so much wealth. She was the type of person that believed, a child should stay out of grown-ups business. But judging from what I had heard from conversations that she shared with her friends: I learned that she was from Marvell, Arkansas and my grandfather was from Helena, Arkansas. I heard her tell her friends that, they both were sole heirs of their family’s land. She had inherited sixty-five acres of land and my grandfather was left with one hundred and twenty-four acres.

After they married, they decided to least out her land to a mercantile company that produced cotton and they lived on his plot.... And after thirty-four years of marriage, my grandfather was farming the land one day when their bull broke out of his pen-trying to get into a fenced pasture where their cows was grazing. And that he was gored by the bull while trying to lure him back into his pen: and his injuries was so severe that he couldn’t farm anymore, so they sold their land and moved to Memphis, Tennessee. I never got to meet my grandfather, he died thirteen years before I was born.

I had no contact with most of my other siblings after they left home. As of this day, I still haven’t heard from two of my older brothers, I don’t know if they’re still living or not. None of my siblings attended our grandmother’s funeral, therefore, I couldn’t share my good fortune with them. However, I kept $20,000.00 in a separate account on deposit in the bank to be divided among them if they ever showed up.

At sixteen years of age this was a great achievement. I was the richest kid in school and the neighborhood. It seemed that everyone really respected me and wanted to be my friend.

I never had an argument nor a fight with any of the boys in the neighborhood. I knew the kid’s parents in the neighborhood didn’t have much money, so on Saturdays and during summer months when school was out, and most of the kids was on the playground, I would buy a big bag of candy and take it to the playground, and I shared it with them. When the ice cream truck was in the area, I would buy popsicles and sodas for everyone. I would spend an average of ten to fifteen dollars daily on refreshments for myself and the other kids. It seemed that every kid in the neighborhood came out to the playground. As the crowd grew, it was getting too expensive to maintain and I had to draw a line. Therefore, I told everyone that I could buy refreshments every Saturday and only once a week. I chose Wednesdays from Noon to three o’clock and if it was raining on Wednesday, then refreshment time
