About this ebook
Thursday, December 15, 2016, I experienced the sudden, shocking, and unexpected sudden death of my beloved husband of more than 37 years. I left our home that morning with my husband by my side, a happily married woman, and I returned home alone a grieving widow.
Thursdays were dreaded days for a very long time and a reminder of my loss.
Ladena Jackson
Ladena has a strong love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and after the sudden loss of her husband, developed an intimate relationship with him, which led her to write her story, Thursday, that she believes will help others that are facing or have gone through a great loss in their life.

Dedication
So how do you pay back a gift from God? You can’t.
My youngest sister was there for me since day one, and every day for several years after Gary went to heaven, she was there through every dream I shared in the middle of the night.
She was there for every voice text and photo I would send of feathers, dimes, songs and sitting on the porch at night after work listening to God knocking.
She was there every day, and that’s a lot. Throughout the evening, listening, caring, responding, praying, and always encouraging me, truly showing she cared. She listened. That’s a gift you can’t repay.
She understood and had so much compassion, sympathy, and empathy. She was constant in her love, sending me encouraging cards, gifts, books, videos, just whatever was out there that I could relate to. She’s the one who, in the very beginning just weeks after Gary going to heaven, encouraged me to write down everything that I was experiencing. Thoughts, dreams, visions, things that were happening in my life that were supernatural, she encouraged me to write those things down so that I would never forget and maybe someday write a book even if it was for my kids and grandchildren to know all that I’ve experienced.
This book is dedicated to my heavenly father, God. I give Him all the praise and glory for His love and the many gifts He has given me throughout my life.
Endorsements
Wow, I just finished reading your book. I’ve always wondered how you could experience losing him like you did and not be a complete basket case. I can see now. I forget sometimes to lean on our Lord when times get rough. But a story as beautiful as yours and Gary’s puts a whole new perspective on faith. In the time we worked together, I got to meet Gary a few times, but I spent a lot of time with you. Y’all’s love is beautiful and everlasting. I have always believed you were one of God’s angels on earth. I love you, Ladena. Thank you for sharing your story with me.

I meant to tell you again how much your writing grabs my attention from the very beginning. I love your words and your way of expressing your experience. I’m in awe of your technique. It is a beautifully well-written book. It’s a true expression of love, loss, many heartfelt elements. I am sure it will be published one day. What a story. I’m still reading and caught on every sentence. Thank you. You are such a beautiful lady.

You are an absolute Angel, Ladena Jackson. Not since I lost Travis almost nine years ago…this book and your words have touched my heart like nothing has since he’s been gone! Thank you so much for sharing part of this with me.

Uncommon Happenings
Thursday, December 15, 2016, was a cold winter day that changed my life and my very being forever. I never imagined that upon wakening that morning and rising to get ready for the day, that in those next few hours, the clock was counting down the last moments of my life as I knew it to be, and that I was sharing my very last moments together on this earth with the love of my life, my everything, my precious husband of 37 years, my Gary. Little did we know that within
