So, this is the famous haunted house of Mayfield. Emily proclaimed, kicking the front door open wide so that she could drop the box of clothes she was carrying just beyond the door. She took a few more steps in, noting the way the floor creaked underfoot. The house was light in the midday sun, with a large and inviting sitting room just beyond the front entrance. She laughed, dancing happily inside the large, empty space. So spooky!

Ugh. Luna grunted, shoving another box through the door. She playfully glared at her friend. Are you here to help or just mar my floors up with your muddy boots?

With a laugh Emily bounced over to her friend's side before proclaiming. I am here for the pizza!

I only promised you that if you help! Luna shouted, walking back out to the moving van.

So seriously though, Emily started, talking through a bite of pizza. This place doesn't scream haunted to me. We have been here all day and aside from some spiders and a few piles of mouse poop there hasn't been a single scary thing about it.

The pair were sitting in front of the fireplace on the floor, eating pizza while surrounded by boxes.

Well, according to the stories that the realtor did NOT want to talk about, the previous owners died of dehydration. Luna answered.

Oh, spooky! Emily waved her arms around before dropping them down to her side dramatically. Drink more water.

Luna laughed. It wasn't that. If you dig into the tabloids, the more risqué one’s claim that the pair died from too much sex. But apparently not with each other.

So.... a ghost fucked them to death? Emily leaned back and opened her legs wide. Any takers? It's been awhile!

Stop! Luna swatted at her. It's my first night. I want to leave a good impression.
