    About myself: -

    I have been learning and practicing different methods of healing, self-help and personal development for 50 years.

    It started back in 1972, when I was a young man of only 17 years old.

    My first venture into self-help - development was through Karate with the style that was then trading as Australian Go Ju. Shortly after I joined the club, they changed their name to Zen Do Kai.

    I trained extensively with ZDK for 13 years most often 6 days a week and attended several summer camps over the years training for up to 12 hours a day for seven days.

    In the early 80’s whilst studying massage our teacher encouraged us to learn Tai Chi to help with the flow of the massage strokes and how to use our body effectively as well.

    I had previously been exposed to Yoga during the summer camps and as a part of Karate training.

    I enjoyed my introduction to Tai Chi as I liked the flow of it and the feeling of energy running through my body. I began training in Tai Chi at the Council of adult education in Melbourne.

    Later I trained with the Australian academy of Tai Chi where my instructors gave me and others recognition as an instructor. I instructed with the academy for a year or so but left them for philosophical reasons.

    Around the same time, I was also studying Yoga at Gita Yoga in Melbourne and studying Qi Gong (Chi Gong) with master Jack Lim.
