DEDICATION

This book is dedicated first and foremost to my Lord Jesus Christ, without whom, I would not be alive today. Who would want to be?

After the Lord, comes my precious husband who has watched over me and cared for me without complaint throughout my illness. I love you honey and I’m very thankful that the Lord gave you to me and let me keep you after that 18 wheeler hit you. We are blessed beyond measure.

Next are our wonderful children. My daughter Shari and her husband Gary Gould, my son Keith Jackson, my husband’s children, whom I call my own and who have been very supportive of me, Eric and Dena Moore, Rhonda and Jim Morton and Adam our youngest. May God bless you all.

I also thank Rev.’s Norman and Bobbie Fikes who took me to the hospital and doctors so many times, and stayed until family could get there... Bless them Lord.

Of course, I can’t forget my sister, Kathy Jones who has beat me to heaven’s gate and who gave up so much of her time to be with me and take care of me when my husband had to be away with work. She was a great blessing that God sent to both my husband and me.

I also can’t forget my special sister Phyllis Hohm and her husband Bob. Phyllis was my roommate before I met my husband, and a great prayer warrior. Together, we knew when the other needed special prayer and was always ready to encourage and lift each other up. Her husband Bob, was also a very special friend to bath Robert and me.

Then there were my former pastors, Rev’s Barbara and Terry Brown and Rev’s Les and Pansy Crawford who gave me pep talks when I needed them so desperately.

Special thanks to Jane Blanchett for taking time to do the editing for me on this particular edition of my book. Jane is a writer herself as well as a mighty prayer warrior. She and her husband Les are on the board of God’s Way Ministries. Robert, my husband and, I are blessed to have them both working and praying with and for us.

IN 1983, AT ZION TABERNACLE IN VICTORIA, TEXAS, I MET A SWEET LADY WHO CARRIED SUCH JOY IN JESUS. SHE TOLD OF THE THINGS GOD WAS DOING IN HER MINISTRY AND FOR THE KINGDOM. HER NAME...SISTER PATSY MOORE.

EVENTUALLY I LOST CONTACT WITH HER. A FEW YEARS LATER, I MET HER COMPANION AND MARRIAGE PARTNER WHEN I MOVED TO CUERO, TEXAS IN 1993. IT WAS WHILE ATTENDING A CHURCH THERE THAT I ENCOUNTERED THIS SPIRITUAL LADY AND HER HUSBAND ROBERT MOORE AND WHAT A TIME IT WAS!

PASTOR MOORE IS A MAN FIRED UP FOR JESUS! FROM THAT DAY FORWARD WE WOULD SHARE A DEVINE CONNECTION, I HAVE SPENT MUCH TIME FELLOWSHIPPINC WITH THEM IN SUCH CHRISTIAN ACTIVITIES AS MINISTERIAL ALLIANCE, CITY-WIDE PRAYER, CITY-WIDE UNITY IN PRAYER AND WORSHIPING TOGETHER AT A CHURCH IN CUERO CALLED MY FATHER’S HOUSE,

YET, YOU NEVER FAIL ME IN ANY WAY.

WHENEVER I DISOBEY, YOU FORGIVE.

YOU SET AN EXAMPLE FOR US TO FOLLOW, KNOWING THAT ALL WE GO THRU, SO HAVE YOU.

YOU LOVED US SO MUCH AND KNEW OUR NEEDS AND WEAKNESSES SO, YOU SENT YOUR HOLY SPIRIT TO COMFORT, GUIDE AND DIRECT US,

TO TEACH US AND GIVE US POWER TO OBEY YOUR WILL.

THIS, TO MOLD US INTO THE VESSEL YOU CAN USE,

SO TH AT OTHERS WOULD DESIRE TO FOLLOW YOU.

BECAUSE OF YOU, WE NOW HAVE VICTORY AND HOPE. MY DESIRE IS TO LOVE AS YOU LOVE.

LOVE ME

I BELIEVE THAT IF I CAN LOVE IN THE WAY YOU LOVE ME THEN OTHERS WILL TRULY SEE VOU IN ME.
