INTRODUCTION

WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT?

This is the Spirit of God, best known as the Holy Ghost. He is not fire, but He burns like fire. He is not water, but as water is important to us, His importance in our lives is greater than that of water itself. He is not wind, though He moves like one. He is not wisdom, but wears it as a garment. He is not power; He is the source of it. The Holy Spirit is a person, the third person of the Trinity; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Being a person, He is sensitive, He hears, He can be impressed or offended. He is the representation of God, His life and character, for God is Spirit. (John 4:24) He carries our worship, the most powerful gesture towards our God, for the blessings bestowed on us.

I want to welcome you to the Holy Spirit, whom we have come to know deeper than before, and have been magnifying and celebrating every day of our 77 Days of Glory. He led and inspired us into it all and has been running the show. The entire program which has been running for 9-11hours daily, here at the Miracle Centre Cathedral, with Miracles, signs and wonders, turning a television station which was at the bottom of the national ratings to become the number one watched on Prime time from 7:00pm to the wee hours of the night has all been by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit has totally transformed our lives, energized our bodies, and caused us to be in the presence of God every day without complaints of fatigue, day after day. Before all this happened, I used to run four Sunday services of two hours each with intervals in between and at the end of the day, I needed a 2-3 day break, and yet that was once a week for a total of eight hours. During the 77 days revival, we have seen his articulation, His revelation, His knowledge, His work and His power, as He has allowed us, humans to tap into God’s divine supernatural resource of abilities in worship, in praise, in preaching, in healing the sick, that we have not seen in 36 years of ministry and many, many years as a church.

The Holy Spirit is real. You recognize Him, He’ll elevate you. If you ignore him, you’ll be on your own. There’s been no demonic activity that has been able to withstand or even oppose His power. Countless hundreds and thousands of people have come and have been delivered. Tens of thousands of souls have been saved in less than two months. This is unprecedented, but has happened because we chose to recognize, welcome and celebrate the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit turns dogs into achievers. He turns weaklings into the strongest people on the planet. Messages that have been preached daily, songs that have been sung daily have ushered us into the full knowledge and understanding of who the Holy Spirit is.

If you walked across our church campus and asked anyone who has been in the revival service the previous evening why they come here at 9:00am for a service that starts at 7:00pm, they would tell you, it is simply to reserve seats for their family. The overflow we are experiencing has taught us that there is nothing in the world of church growth teachings and the handling of new members and converts that is comparable to that of the Holy Spirit.

The things that we have experienced through the growth of the church are all because the Holy Spirit has been given everything, and He’s in total control. He wants to be in control, because that is where He works best. That is where He begins to draw people from England and Dubai and other nations, to come and be healed on our TV program on the Miracle Centre Cathedral platform. They may have come in the country for something else, but God brought them in for a reason.

People are flying in from all over the world to come and be relieved from their burdens. He has turned the Miracle Centre Cathedral, into His house of prayer, His house of worship, His house of praise, His house of reconstruction and repair, His house of restoration of families that had been broken for as many as twenty five and even more years.

The Holy Spirit!!!

If you are looking for an advertising company for your event, try the Holy Spirit. He does it better. This, we have seen and know because the 77 Days of Glory were never advertised nor promoted as is usually the case when we conduct our crusades, conferences and other meetings. Tens of millions of shillings equivalent to tens of thousands of dollars are usually spent, but this time round, the Holy Spirit handled it.

Now, the whole world knows what is happening here. This is the truth; He promotes better and He gives better. We are experiencing both social transformation and physical planning changes that are taking place at the Miracle Centre Cathedral. New equipment is rolling in, people are continually being blessed and we have enlarged our parking lot joyfully without stress.

The first thing He did in our revival services, the first message He gave us, the first issue He dealt with was financial embarrassment because he knew that the journey would be long, but wanted us to be blessed through it all. That is why I welcome you to the Holy Spirit. I know this book will totally transform your ministry, your life, your family and everything you have ever touched.

I don’t want to stop this preamble without talking about Peace, a nine year old girl, who witnessed the power of God in the church and on channel44, Miracle TV and was filled with the Holy Spirit. Oftentimes, when we witness the infilling of the Holy Spirit, we see adults.

Very rarely do we see young people. But this nine year old girl was filled with the Holy Spirit. Her family was in tatters. Her father was rejecting her brother, his only son, and was telling her mother to pack her bags and leave. The girl heard it all and the Holy Spirit told her to call for a meeting at home and chair it. And she did as though she was a corporation chair or CEO.

She turned the issues of a confused disgruntled family that was fighting all the time and living in sin, where the father was rejecting a seven year old boy, telling him to pack his bags and go to the streets. Let your mother show you who your real father is. The Holy Spirit on the young girl caused her to chair a reconciliation meeting which she presided over and ministered forgiveness.

That day as the Holy Spirit led her, father, daughter, mother and son all repented in tears. How could a 9year old girl command a dysfunctional
