#1 Abraham and Sarah’s story is a great example of how our fears can lead us to do things we shouldn’t do, and how God can use that to His advantage.
#2 Sarah had a plan to produce an heir, which involved Abraham sleeping with her slave, but it went terribly wrong. Abraham gave his wife complete authority over the pregnant servant woman, and stood by while Sarah abused her.
#3 Sarah was incredulous to hear the news of God’s promise to give her a child, and she laughed. God told her that He would give her a son of her body, and she laughed again.
#4 God used Abraham and Sarah’s bad dinner party to reveal the promise of a child to Sarah, which eventually resulted in the birth of Isaac.

#1
The story of Abraham and Sarah is a prime example of how God works through our mistakes and fears to accomplish His goals. Sarah was a key player in the history of God’s chosen people, and she was protected by her husband Abraham when the Pharaoh sought to take her as a wife.
#2
The Bible tells the story of Abraham and Sarah, and how their relationship came to an end when Sarah gave Abraham a servant girl to sleep with, who then got pregnant and Sarah complained that she was barren.
#3
The story of Abraham and Sarah is a strange one. It says that God appeared to Abraham, but then three men stood before him. The men asked where Sarah was, and when Abraham told them she was in the tent, one of the men said that Sarah would have a son in one year.
#4
The big reveal of God’s plan to Abraham was that he would be the father of Isaac. But when Sarah laughed, God took note. He said that nothing is impossible with God.
#5
Sarah’s story is intertwined with Hagar’s from beginning to end. When Isaac was three years old, the traditional age of weaning, Sarah saw his older brother, Ishmael, laughing. She asked Abraham to send them away, and he did.
#6
The last great event in the life of Abraham is when God asks him to sacrifice his son, Isaac, as a human sacrifice. It is hard to imagine being asked to do the same
