      Introduction

      The issue of our hearts is very significant to God, ourselves, and others. This is so important that whenever it is spoken about in scripture the writer uses the word above. The word above means higher or on the top. It also means superior. When something or someone is above that means that thing or person is significant and one can not do without or go further without that thing or person being involved or affected. There are also 1400 verses on the heart and spirit in scripture. This tells me that the heart needs attention. The heart is that one area that we need to closely pay attention to if we want to enjoy our walk with God, have a good relationship with others, fulfilling our purpose, and making it to heaven. The issue of the heart has become personal to me on many occasions in my walk with God.
