About this ebook

All that you believe about treating type 2 diabetes is WRONG! Today, most specialists, dietitians, and even diabetes experts believe type 2 diabetes to be a persistent and progressive disease —a life sentence without any chance of parole. But the reality, as Dr. Murray uncovers in this noteworthy book, is that type 2 diabetes is reversible.

Writing with clear, convincing language, Dr. Murray makes sense of why customary medicines that rely on insulin or other blood-glucose-lowering medications can really compound the issue, prompting significant weight gain and even heart disease. The best way to treat type 2 diabetes successfully, he argues, is proper dieting, exercise and intermittent fasting—not medication.

    INTRODUCTION

Most health experts consider type 2 diabetes to be a chronic and progressive infection. This promotes the idea that type 2 diabetes is a one-way road, a lifelong sentence without really any chance of parole: the sickness persistently deteriorates until you at last require insulin infusions. But this is really an extraordinary big lie, which is excellent information for anybody who has been diagnosed with prediabetes or type 2 diabetes. Perceiving the false notion of this belief is the crucial initial phase in reversing the disease. As a matter of fact, the vast majority as of now instinctively recognize this.

It's ridiculously simple to demonstrate that type 2 diabetes is quite often reversible. Assume you have a friend who is diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, meaning the degree of glucose in his blood is continuously above normal levels. He works hard to shed 50 pounds, which empowers him to quit taking his glucose- lowering medications on the grounds that the levels in his blood now normal. What would you say to him? Presumably something like Incredible work. You're truly dealing with yourself. Keep it up! What you wouldn’t say is something like You're such a dirty liar. My PCP says this is a chronic and progressive disease so you must be lying.

It appears to be entirely clear that the diabetes reversed in light of the fact that your friend lost all that weight. And that’s the point: type 2 diabetes is a reversible disease. We've instinctively detected this truth from the start. Be that as it may, just diet and lifestyle changes —not medications— will reverse this disease, basically in light of the fact that type 2 diabetes is to a great extent a dietary illness.

The main determinant, obviously, is weight reduction. The greater part of the medications used to treat type 2 diabetes don't cause weight reduction. Quite the contrary. Insulin, for instance, is infamous for causing weight gain. When patients start on insulin infusions for type 2 diabetes, they often sense they are going down
