EAT YOUR CARBS LAST

WINTER isn’t generally a time when we lose weight. When the weather gets colder, it’s time for delicious pastas, comforting stews and yummy baked desserts. That’s why many of us tend to come out of winter with a little extra padding.

But what if there was a way to stop that from happening? Or even to lose weight – all without going on a diet.

You can do it by simply changing the order in which you eat your food, says the biochemist who’s become known as the Glucose Goddess. And it really is that simple – eat your veggies first, then protein, then carbs, and pretty soon you’ll feel the benefits. You’ll feel lighter, less bloated and have more energy.

She’s seen it work over and over again, says Jessie Inchauspé, a French biochemist and author of The Glucose Revolution and The Glucose Goddess Method.

Why does the order in which you eat your food matter? Because it flattens your glucose curve. And if there’s one thing she wants people to understand, it’s just how important it is to flatten your glucose curve.
