Trust me, I know what it takes. I’ve learned the lesson of rebranding again and again in life. Now I’m going to share my secrets with you.

Your image consulting business can be more than what it is today. You can remake yourself as an elite image consultant. You can scale your business, increase your influence, and bring in high six and seven-figure income.

My First Rebranding

In 2016, I was living the corporate life in California when I started giving makeovers to my guy friends. They would come to me for styling tips, and I’d help them discover a whole new look. At the time, I was doing it for fun and for free.

Word spread enough that commissioned customers started asking for my services. Image consulting became a part-time gig that I did on the side.

When some clients needed clothing sizes outside of what was available, I started looking into custom tailoring solutions. I checked all over the States, but the prices were too high, and turnaround times were too slow.

I decided to expand my search overseas to Italy, Japan, and Vietnam. None offered what I was looking for: a fast tailoring factory that I could entrust with the smallest details.

An associate gave me a tip: Check out Korea. There’s a custom tailoring market. It might be just what you need. I headed to Korea and was blown away by the options.

In Korea, I’d be able to get high-quality garments in almost no time at all. It was incredible. Korean tailors could fulfill orders with the utmost precision and attention to detail.

This was the opportunity I’d been looking for. I went home to California, wrapped up things there, and moved to Korea within a month.

I arrived in July of 2017 and started setting up my men’s custom tailoring business, SUIT MAKE. I had taken a big leap, and it was worth it. I’d rebranded myself from corporate employee to successful business owner. I was helping men all over the world look great and feel more confident about themselves.

The Next Rebranding

But that’s not where my story ends.

The image consulting that I’d been doing back in the States didn’t stop when I opened SUIT MAKE. The new business actually gave me more opportunities to advise men on their fashion choices.

Ordering custom clothing means that you’re responsible for every detail. Usually, customers have to pick the material, the color, the buttons, and more. That’s great in theory, but many men don’t know what choices will look best on them.

I wanted to help them choose the selections that would make them look most attractive. You want a blue suit, but you need to go with brown, I’d advise, and they’d pay attention.

Moreover, I’d provide guidance on how to do their hair, care for their skin, present themselves in meetings, and feel more confident.

Once again, I was an image consultant. And once again, I needed to rebrand myself.
