This Joburg-based stylist has worked with numerous beauty queens – including Rolene Strauss, Zozibini Tunzi and Shudufhadzo Musida – and is creative director of the Miss South Africa pageant.
How did you get your start in the fashion industry?
Having completed my BA degree in commercial fashion at Lisof (fashion school) in Pretoria I started working with my best friend from high school, Melinda Bam, on her journey towards Miss South Africa.
We always had this dream that she would one day enter Miss South Africa and when the time was right in 2011 I said I would help her as I had a keen interest in pageants and had just completed my degree in fashion.
I never knew I could even have a career in pageants but after a lot of blood sweat and tears I created this niche for myself that combines my love for fashion as well as women empowerment.
