Emma The Pear
The Pear – The Emma
It’s always all about finding balance between your top and your bottom. For the Pear, just keep the focus on your lovely slim top and the rest will naturally follow.
The key to remember here is thighs.
The Pear may look like she has got wide hips but actually, it’s the thighs where the width is. Basically, your lower body is wider than your upper body.
To create that body balance, you will need to take emphasis away from the thighs/hips and draw it to the top half of your body. We want to add volume to the shoulders and upper body. Your bottom is rounded and your waist is well defined.
You can do this easily by just choosing tops with the right style and shape and also picking bold designs and colors. You can have fun with the upper deck so go all out and get creative and find your own personal style.
Now, the area below the knee we really need to draw outward and elongate that central part. Choose visually interesting hemlines that are wider, this will balance out the hip/thighs area, also making it appear slimmer. The hi-low styles would be great.
Usually Pear shaped ladies have narrower shoulders and a smaller bust in comparison to the waist and lower half of the body. Of course, you will need a great fitting bra, that goes without saying.
Fabulous parts of the pear – your shoulders and torso.
Dressing the pear
