What influences your style? Instagram and my struggles as a modest dresser. I also draw inspiration from old, iconic celeb looks. Fashion is after all a cycle. Everything comes back!

Did you always want to become an influencer? I got my degree in film, media and drama from the University of Cape Town in 2010. That same year I started my blog (fashionbreed.co.za) because I had dreams of becoming a magazine fashion editor. I then did a fashion magazine internship, worked for an e-commerce store and still kept blogging. It was becoming evident that fashion media was shifting online – and it’s paid off in my career.

What’s the key to your success? I love improving in every area of my life, from my career and relationships to my religion. If you’re always truly wanting to improve, you will be better every day.

What’s your favourite item in your closet? My leather biker jacket and Stuart Weitzman chestnut brown thigh-high boots.

How do you take a casual look to a chic on-the-go look? Since I live in dresses, simple block heels and a red lip always do the trick.
