    Tanja Pajic was born in the second half of the past century, in what was a small village, and is now a part of a city. She acquired good schooling, studying philology and philosophy at Belgrade University, France; Montclair State College, and Rutgers University in the USA for her MA. She returned to her native country and started as a lecturer of Latin and French languages. After working as a publicist, she began writing poetry and short stories; she has published a few of them with success.
