About this ebook
It's time to make room in your life for happiness to blossom
Do you feel like you have too much stuff? A cluttered space isn't just inconvenient—the truth is it's hard to lead a joyful, purposeful life when the things around you detract from your relationships, habits, and goals. But decluttering is more than getting rid of the stuff you already have. To make real change in your home, you need to look at how these excess possessions got there in the first place. This book examines the acquisition cycles that keep our homes overcrowded and distract us from going after the meaningful things we really want in our lives.
Make Space for Happiness gives you a seven-step roadmap to clearing your life and opening yourself up to all the good meant to come your way. Renowned decluttering expert Tracy McCubbin will help you revolutionize your living space and your mindset by focusing on clutter clearing as a path to positivity in every area of your life, helping you to manifest:
- True connection
- Self-confidence
- Free time
- Big Love
- Self-respect
- Real Purpose
- Lasting Wisdom
We all want to live in homes that are functional, comfortable, and that bring us happiness rather than detract from it. Make Space for Happiness provides flexibility, support, and inspiration as you re-envision your home as the starting point of the joyful life that's waiting for you.

Tracy McCubbin is author of Making Space, Clutter Free: The Last Book On Decluttering You’ll Ever Need (June 4th, 2019). She has always referred to herself as “Obsessive Compulsive Delightful,” but who knew she could turn that trait into a booming business? While working for a major television director in Los Angeles, Tracy discovered she had the ability to see through any mess and clearly envision a clutter-free space. Coupled with keen time-management and organizational skills, Tracy soon found more and more people were asking her for help. Before she knew it, dClutterfly was born. Ten years and thousands of clients later, dClutterfly is Los Angeles’ premier organizing and decluttering company. Tracy is a regularly featured expert on Hallmark's Home & Family, has a column on MindBodyGreen, and has regular declutter segments on Fox 5 and ABC Eyewitness News, KTLA Morning Show, KCAL9, and Good Day Sacramento. She and her company have also been featured in Real Simple, Women's Day and ShopSmart. When not decluttering, she is the proud Co-Executive Director of OneKid OneWorld, a non-profit building strong educational foundations for children in impoverished communities throughout Kenya and Central America. She lives in Los Angeles and knows where her keys are.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I really enjoyed the author’s previous book (and slightly laughing at the irony that it was subtitled as “the last book on decluttering you’ll ever need”—well here’s another book) and got a lot out of it and the emotional clutter blocks she covered. I enjoyed this one too, but while listening I think that I have more things covered in my life than I thought; here she talks about emotional clutter magnets (how people use clutter instead of magnetizing what they’re really yearning for). I liked the coverage here and will definitely think about it, but I’m also pleased about how I now manage not to bring in more clutter. I’d say if anything it’s my physical limitations that are my issue with actually getting stuff out of my place.
