WHEREVER I’VE lived, I’ve been surrounded by clutter – of my own making. My first one-bedroom flat wasn’t too bad, but when I moved into a two-bedroom terrace house, that’s where the clutter really started to accumulate. When I moved back into a flat, most of that clutter ended up in various storage facilities (namely my parents’ loft and garage).
And when I moved in with my now husband I easily quadrupled the number of items in his home, turning it overnight from minimal bachelor pad to an eclectic, cushion-and-ornament-filled space with wall-to-wall bookcases. We now live in a six-bedroom home and yet I’ve still managed to pack it to the rafters. A lot of the things I don’t even need and yet finding
