Introduction
Books can be written for a range of different purposes in a wide variety of styles. And what motivates you as a potential author could be vastly different to what might motivate someone else.
However, regardless of the type of book, the purpose and motivation behind that book, or the style – there is one key thing that ALL authors have in common.
The need to share a story.
Whether that’s a fictional story, or a piece of information – if you’re reading this book, there’s a really good chance that something inside you is whispering to you that you need to share something important to a group of people who matter.
And yet too few people actually get around to writing and publishing their book.
Far too many manuscripts get started and never finished – or they get finished but never published. Merely gathering dust in a desk drawer or in a hidden folder on a computer.
Which is a great, great shame for the rest of us.
Because no matter how saturated you might feel the market is with your type of book – there’s EVERY chance that there is someone out there in the world who WANTS and NEEDS to hear it from YOU!
Only you can write like you (with the exception of a talented ghost writer!).
Only you can share your specific circumstances, experiences, failures and lessons.
Or, in the case of fiction, only you will write that specific storyline or tell a story from a specific angle. Or simply tell a story in your unique voice.
YOU ARE UNIQUE!
Which means, your book probably will be too.
Therefore, no matter what it is that you want to write,
