Elise Welsch was born in Tennessee and grew up in North Carolina, Connecticut, and Vermont. She graduated from Dickinson College with an International Studies degree that included a year in Bologna, Italy. In her career, she has worked with IBM in Chicago and in Honolulu, Hawaii, which she enjoyed; but she considers teaching elementary art at a classical Christian school the best job in the world. She loves children.Elise also volunteered for many years at Hope Recovery Center where women learn to overcome addiction. She currently teaches kids at Love and Truth Church in Jackson, Tennessee. With her husband, Elise founded Women's Health Media as a way to empower women in healthcare decisions.
