About this ebook
This book is a compilation of poems that talk about the human race, the world we are living in, laws and equality, government and freedom. This book also tells us about Yeshua's teachings and instructions from the Bible that lead us to question, have we followed His teachings? Have we?

Ernie Hasler
Ernie Hasler started working as an engineering apprentice in Scotland at the age of 16. He retired as a health and safety advisor after more than a half-century of work on some big jobs, also becoming the first advisor in Scotland to gain the specialist NEBOSH Diploma in environmental management. Hasler became active in the trade union early in his career and saw many improvements in health and safety during his time. These important improvements stemmed from the Health and Safety at Work Act in 1974, which led to slow but significant increase in worker safety and welfare. In his spare time, he ran a small charity, Plant Tree Save Planet starting women's tree nurseries in poor countries, mostly funded by himself and his two sisters, however, he closed it when due to poor health and age he could not effectively check out recipients. He continues to fund tree planting through Trees for the Future, and helping poor families start agri-forestry farms. He has funded the planting of thousands of trees and shrubs, and he continues to do so, year on year.He has been a voluntary trustee with Emmaus Glasgow for twenty four years, helping take it from an aspirational concept to a functioning community of up to twenty-seven previously homeless people. 75 years of experience has taught him that supporting people with needs on positive pathways is much more productive than punitive sanctions.

Planet of Blue
Voyager left our solar system; it took a photo from where it flew.
Although so far away, the image was distinctly blue.
That color, even distantly, indicates the presence of water,
Making reproduction possible for son and daughter.
Seventy percent of earth’s surface is covered by this H2O.
Fifty percent of our bodies are also water, allowing us to grow.
At the frozen poles, water is firmly locked up as ice.
In the Tropics, water evaporates in mists, looking soft and nice.
The water vapour rises on the winds to form clouds,
Covering the mountaintops like great fluffy shrouds.
Then the droplets form and get bigger and bigger until they drop.
Crystal clear, pure water, and if you listen, you can hear each plop.
The water cycle completes its journey, a miracle of temperature.
A wonderous and mysterious sign of some greater signature.
Old Friends
A few words about the thousands of friends and acquaintances over seventy-five years in my past.
Yes, I think about them often, and we sparked each other to live quite fast.
Win or lose, striving in teams or groups are experiences of special intensity.
Ethical integrity, or sense of teamwork, probably common in most of those wonderful people in equal propensity.
I miss the laughs, discussions—a bit provocative, but that’s just me.
The physically active bits are now past; I hope Bishopton Sports, Social Club and Field remain free.
For several years, I kept two football pitches and enjoyed some unique talents in that important open space.
Green Plants
Life is the state of being alive.
Our world, a place where organisms thrive.
The ability to grow and change
To suit our environmental range.
Most of all, the
