Flashes of Loss and Redemption - Eli Taff, Jr.
INTRODUCTION
[BOYO, a skinny man in grey robes with light brown hair, stands at the railing of the large passenger caravel as it cuts its way across the Bay of Dragons.]

Do you know why I can’t just open a portal and follow Sir Bryan back into his world? The same reason you can’t pluck a fish from the ocean and drop him into a pond!
I would explode. Or implode. Depending on the altitude.
[Boyo makes a rude gesture at Captain Graebner and Aivo as the two men walk away.]
"So what do I do, then? I’m a stranger in a very
