    Sirena

Agitation rolled through Sirena’s body as she paced around the magical office her father had set up when she was four years old. It was a special place for her to visit her god of a father. The walls were made completely of thick white clouds over the rough Pacific Ocean, floating around as to not draw suspicions but still there all the same. Over the years, the room had changed as she grew older, going from a playroom to a library, but lately it felt more like an office with a desk, couch, and one bookcase with books and images of her and her father.

Ah to be one of the many spawns of Zeus, the god who liked to stick his dick in almost everything. Sirena’s lips thinned at the thought of her father’s many conquests. The man was so freaking enamored that humans and gods bowed at his feet and were willing to bend over and take every fucking inch.

Ugh. She ground her teeth, ready to portal back to her place on Earth. Giving him a few more minutes, she let her mind wander to the prophecy that marked her and her two cousins, Avalon and Myra. Avalon was in the clear since she was willing to give up her own life to the underworld creatures. A light laugh echoed around the clouds as she thought about Eris’s face when she was punished.

Of course, this meant more attention on Sirena, which she could handle with the grace her late mother gave her. The whole wrath of Hera… partially true when it came to Sirena’s mother. Fucking killed by a stray lightning bolt and when she’d begged her father to save her, he said he couldn’t because she was already in the underworld, leaving Sirena to watch over her little sister with little help.

Flashes of lightning erupted around her, coming from her own hands, and she had to take a few breaths for it to clear. A light pop caught her attention and her father stepped out of the thick clouds into the room.

He had his long white locks pulled into a tight bun and she winced.

Of all the gods, you support the man bun. She scrunched her nose, and he pulled the band away, letting it tumble over his shoulders. His freaking hair was almost every girl’s wet dream, being super soft and resistant to fucking everything.

He had a sleek light blue suit on, and if a human man wore this shade, she’d call him crazy but on him it looked good.

Better? He eyed her for a moment and his own nose flared. Throw a little tantrum up here? His brow arched and she glared at him.

Wouldn’t have happened if you weren’t fucking late. She placed her hands on her hips and he chuckled.

Sorry, my sweet cloud, but I had something, well someone, that needed tending to. Something lit up in his eyes and Sirena resisted the urge to roll her eyes at the double meaning of his words.

Gross! She gagged then eyed his clothes to make sure nothing was out of place. It wasn’t, he was the god of all gods after all.

Now, I didn’t ask you here to insult me. He growled and a low crackle of electricity hummed in the air. This act might scare others, but Sirena had been through enough of his warnings to know that’s all they were chalked up to be, a warning from her push-over father. Well, he was a push over for her, he was still completely capable of smiting someone and did every few decades to keep things interesting. His words.

Of course, not father of the year. Or should I say King of the Gods? Oh no, seed spreader. She batted her eyes and his lips twitched. He wouldn’t pull any shit with her, so she didn’t pull any punches. Part of her would admit to loving pushing his buttons.

We need to talk about you and this connection with the Prophecy.

Sirena’s stomach turned and all her joking and pushing vanished from her mind.

Are you finally going to tell me my half, or am I gonna be left in the dark like Avalon was? Oh, and don’t forget about Myra. She rocked onto her toes then back on her heals.

Yes, the stupid prophecy. One female demigod will bring the world to its knees. For the love she has for one will either destroy everything or will bring peace. One shall
