    Chapter 1: My Beloved Son

God calls His Son beloved and has given him all things. The Father loves the Son and has Created all things through Him.

He has given Him power and authority over all things. He has made Him a King and Lord over us all.

He is the first begotten of God and first born of all creation. He is the end of all things and all things are renewed through Him.

He was in the beginning with God and is the beginning of all things. He is the end of all things and all things are renewed through Him.

He is the first fruits of the resurrection and life and He is the end of death and sin.

He is the Alpha and Omega who has been given all things by Almighty God the Father. He is the beloved Son of the one and only True God.

God calls his son beloved because He loves His Son and is well pleased with him.

Matthew 3:16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17 and behold, a voice from heaven said, This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.

He is the only begotten Son of God and is loved by the Father.

John 5:20 For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed.

The Father loves the Son and has given Him all things.

John 3:35 The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands.

He has Created all things through Him and has given Him power and authority over all things.

Colossians 1:16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

John 1:3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

Matthew 28:18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

He has made Him a King and Lord over us all and has given Him a kingdom.

He is the first begotten of God and first born of all creation.

Colossians 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

He was in the beginning with God and is the beginning of all things.

John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God.

He is the end of all things and all things are renewed through him.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

He is the first fruits of the resurrection and life and He is the end of death and sin.

1 Corinthians 5:20 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.

21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.

22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.

He is the Alpha and Omega who has been given all things by Almighty God the Father.

Revelations 22:13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

Revelations 1:8 I am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord God, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."

Which of you had he called Son? I am pleased with my Son and I have given my Son all things.

Hebrews 1:5 For to which of the angels did God ever say, You are my Son; today I have become your Father? Or again, I will be his Father, and he will be my Son?

1:6 And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, Let all God’s angels worship him.

1:8 But about the Son he says, "Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.

The Father loves His Son and gives Him all things. He had put all things under Him and has given Him all power, authority, honor, and glory.

He calls him beloved and has given His only begotten Son for us so that in him we have life. That we glorify him and through him the Father is glorified.

That God did not abandon nor forsake us but saved us through his Son.

That He so loved the world while we were still sinners that He gave His only begotten Son for us so that all who believe shall not perish but have everlasting life.

He has made this Jesus both Lord and Messiah. He is King and Lord over all things and is the anointed Son of God, who the Father is well pleased.

Answers from the book.net state that,

There are two instances in the scriptures where the voice of God was heard, expressing His love for His son. When the Lord Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, the Lord spoke from Heaven.

Matthew 3:16-17 tells us, And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Not only was the voice of God heard, but evidence was given of the existence of the Father, the Son, and of the Holy Ghost in this portion, as the Lord Jesus was baptized, the Holy Spirit descended upon Him, and the Father spoke from Heaven, affirming that this Jesus, was indeed, His beloved Son.

When the Lord Jesus was transfigured in the presence of Peter, James, and John, the Lord spoke again from Heaven.
