About this ebook

THE ROOM AND OTHER SHORT STORIES follows four individuals in four different tales.

“Murder Motel” follows Beth and her boyfriend Mac as they get lost in Oklahoma, and find a run-down motel to spend the night in. Beth is sketched out about the motel room and wants to leave, whereas Mac tempts her to stay. Mac revealed he dragged Beth to the motel to kill her, but Beth retaliates and fights back. She must find a way to escape the room and from Mac.

In “Dystopian Cure”, Percy is locked in a jail cell with the only known cure for a city-wide virus. He must find a way to sneak out of the jail cell to spread the cure, only to battle the corrupt mayor of the city. During a grueling fight, Percy realized that he might not make it out of this battle alive.

“The Race to Snowmageddon” is an adventure story about Jeff, a teen who is trying to attend the biggest event in his town, Snowmageddon. While on his journey, Jeff is faced with many obstacles. From his car breaking down to having to chase a bus through thick fog. After arriving at the arena, he noticed he didn’t have his ticket to enter the event. He must face his toughest obstacle by sneaking past the heavily armed security guards into the jam-packed arena.

“Funeral” follows James the day of his mother’s funeral, and everything keeps going south for him. After a conversation with the church’s narcissistic pastor, James must come to terms with a very tough decision about what to do with his mother. It is up to James to deal with everything head-on, or to run away from his problems.
