About this ebook
Please note: This is a companion version & not the original book. Book Preview:
#1 I first met Frank Abagnale in 1995, when I was a newly appointed supervisor in the Financial Institution Fraud Unit. He was a consultant for the FBI, and he gave talks about bank fraud and its prevention. His commitment to providing these presentations never ceased.
#2 The real Frank Abagnale is a brilliant man who has pulled off many capers, but he is also one of the most humble and soft-spoken people you will ever meet. He not only provokes thought but also helps people change their behavioral acumen.
#3 I've known Frank for longer than I can remember, and he has always been there for me. He has helped me with my career, and in turn, changed my life. I've never understood why he does all this, nor have I ever asked him for an explanation.

Insights from Chapter 2
#1
Helen was a victim of identity theft. She had worked in the operating room of a Seattle hospital and, like many nurses, had developed back problems because of the long hours she spent on her feet and the labor involved in maneuvering and lifting patients. By 2011, her legs had started to hurt so badly that she required back surgery.
#2
Helen began experiencing problems with her identity after Alice began impersonating her and stealing her identity. She was unable to prove who she was because Alice could prove it so easily.
#3
The effects of fraud on individuals are similar to the psychological aftermath experienced by victims of violent crimes and war, ranging from anxiety to emotional volatility, depression to post-traumatic stress disorder.
#4
I was a con artist from 1964 to 1969. I traveled the world, cashing more than $2. 5 million in forged checks. I financed a lifestyle that included bespoke suits, luxury cars, and world travel. I dated beautiful women. It was thrilling.
#5
I have been a security and anti-fraud consultant for more than forty-three years. I have a consulting company, Abagnale Associates. I have met and talked to thousands of people who have been harmed by scams, from small
