Alright, set up a stationary camera over there, Josh said, pointing to the base of the large staircase centered across from the front door. Angle it upward so we can keep an eye on the steps.

Jared carefully placed the camera down, steadying it at an angle. Got it, he said before rushing up the stairs to check the angle once more.

Josh loudly clapped his hands in the air, come on guys, we have to finish setting up before night fall if we’re gonna get anything tonight. Josh turned, leaning on the rail of the stairway, crooking his head upward at an odd angle, Maddie, he shouted up into the dead air, you almost ready up there?

Maddie ignored Josh’s shouts, focusing on the camera in her hand, trying to steady it at the perfect angle to get a shot of the entire room, carefully placing it in the far corner up against the wall for a wide capture of the space. She narrowed her eyes, a faint smile crossing her face, perfect.

She stood up, back stepping out of the room slowly as if any sudden movement may shift the camera, not turning around till she was safely in the hallway. She leaned over the second-floor balcony, giving Josh a thumbs up before heading down the stairs.

Everything is all set upstairs, she said as Jared brushed down passed her. We almost ready to get rolling? Maddie asked.

Josh let out a sigh, looking carefully around the space, I think we are just about ready, I got Max and Tyler setting up a few perimeter cameras outside around the place, then we should be good.

Pssh. Static rang out from the radio in Josh’s pocket.

Josh, can you hear me? Max’s voice echoed from the radio.

Josh pulled the radio from his pocket, raising it to his mouth, yeah, I hear ya. What’s up?

We’re all finished out here, everything is a go, Max said.

Roger, good work, let’s get this show on the road then, Josh said, stuffing the radio back in his pocket.

Josh turned around, giving his hands another loud clap, rubbing them together, alright, let’s do this. Josh pointed a finger at Jared, who stood holding a large camcorder, you ready.

Jared gave him a thumbs up, counting down from five with his fingers, four, three, two, one, ending with a pointed finger at Josh.

What’s up everybody, we’re here at the Haddix Asylum, and as I’m sure you’ve all heard, it was the site of dozens if not hundreds of grisly murders dating back to the early nineteen hundreds and even up until just ten years ago when the building was condemned and abandoned, now on point for an upcoming demolition. Josh walked backwards as the Jared followed him with the camera.

Now, we are here to investigate rumors of hauntings throughout the old asylum and its grounds, even the former caretaker of the grounds has promised to come by for a brief interview on his experiences around the property and if he has ever seen or sensed anything unusual here.

"According to the old reports, when the building was still a functioning hospital, the director of the building and lead psychiatrist Dr. Krane had
