About this ebook
To be in the present moment, you need to be fully present, without any thoughts or feelings. You need to be physically at ease, mentally aware and emotionally available to the present moment. All three of your levels of being, as described in The Perennial Truth - Awakening of the Soul, must be aligned for you to connect to the present moment.
This goes against everything we have been taught at school or conditioned to believe. We have been taught that thinking defines who we actually are! And now, I am asking you to stop thinking when you don’t need to think!
Sounds impossible, right? Actually, with a little bit of practice, you can master your mind and the art of just being.
Maha Khala is the practice that will take you on a journey of freeing your mind and expanding your awareness to the gifts of the present moment, allowing you to live your highest potential.
“Growing up with borderline personality disorder and having a drug addiction, depression and thoughts of suicide every day, I kept searching for something that could just help with the pain from being admitted to psychiatric hospitals and go- ing to rehabilitation centers more than once with no results.
My dissatisfaction with life was a never ending nightmare. My ego made me believe I was broken and alone. Starting Maha Khala I thought it would be just like any other meditation I tried before but damn was I wrong.
When I applied Maha Khala and really doing the work,
there is no words for the benefits I started seeing from just being in the present moment. I have the power to shift my reality. Maha Khala helped me to take control of my life com- pletely from stopping my drug addiction and taking owner- ship of the dream called life and cutting this material attach- ments the ego has made.
And most of all Maha Khala has improved my mental health and emotional wellbeing and I am still seeing healing every day !! School Of Samaya is playing a great role in my journey of self rehabilitation and mental health . Thank you to the Great teachers and TLB.”

PROLOGUE
Ar e you tired of feeling alone even while you are with others? Or maybe you are tired of having no purpose or meaning in your life? Do you often feel depressed? Or perhaps you suffer with anxiety about the future?
This relentless vacillation of our mind has resulted in mental health becoming a household name and emotional wellbeing finding itself searching for more authentic meditation practices.
Maha Khala offers you a step step by practical guide to move through the six stages of the mind and find inner peace and joy. Have you ever lost your internet connection for a day? How did you feel? A little lost; out of the loop – right? You felt like you were disconnected. In this modern age we have become so accustomed to connecting to the world through our digital devices, that when we lose our internet connection, we lose our connection to our world.
The digitization of our social and business lives has caused many of us to lose our real human connection with others. Sure, you may have a few close friends, but in general your so-called friends are just distant voices on a social media platform you will probably never meet in person.
Because of this digital revolution, most of us have become disconnected from the real world we find ourselves in. You go to a park and everyone is too busy on their mobile devices to notice the beautiful nature that surrounds them. They are hardly aware of it. Our virtual world has become more important to us than the real world. Herein lies the problem.
In this age of technology we are no longer integrated with reality, with nature and the cosmic Whole. We perceive the world as separate from us - outside of us. Our awareness of reality is limited to those few aspects of life or people we are interested in, and we ignore the rest. In our normal state of mind we are not even aware of the Whole. Instead, we move through life in a constant state of concentration, with our awareness in a contracted state, unaware of most of what is happening in the present moment. We have forgotten how to relax our awareness, and to be inclusive. We have forgotten how to be in the present moment.
And because of this unawareness of what is real, it is almost impossible for you to fathom where you fit in to the larger picture. What your true calling is!
Life has a plan, but you aren't aware of the plan or your place in it. This situation can be very frustrating: not knowing why you are here or who you truly are. It leads to depression, anxiety about the future, and loneliness. Even in a crowd, we are alone. We don't know how to become one with the crowd, how to belong.
Maha Khala, when mastered, offers you a direct way to address all of these symptoms of life. Maha means highest and Khala means transcending time. This ancient tantric meditation technique will teach you how to integrate with reality again. It will allow you to discover who you really are and find your true calling in life.
What makes Maha Khala unique?
There are so many gurus that will tell you all of your afflictions can be overcome by simply being in the present moment. All you have to do is relax and be in the present moment. Then all your regrets about the past, and all your anxiety about the future will disappear.
So, what is standing in your way? Why is it so difficult to be in the present moment? And what does that mean, anyway?
The truth is that, you are thinking all the time. And you can't be aware of the present moment while you are thinking. Thinking takes you away from the present moment. Even thinking about the present moment takes you away from the present moment.
Have you ever tried to stop thinking for even a minute? Can you even imagine not thinking for ten minutes? How about an hour? How long can you go without thinking?
Take a moment right now and stop thinking! Rest your awareness on the image below and just be in this moment.
Could you do it? Were there thoughts creeping in? Was the image too distracting? Now close your eyes for a minute and see if you can stop your thoughts?
…….Could you do it?
Did you become aware of your thoughts? These thoughts play as white noise in the background and we have become comfortable in allowing them to be there because we have not been taught how to actually manage our mind. We have just been taught how to think but not how to stop the thoughts when we don’t need to think. Hence these thoughts are constantly there, commentating and assessing every aspect of how we engage in life. And this is going on, unconsciously! You are not even aware that you are thinking! As a result, you are never in the present moment!
You could try hypnosis, or some sort of trance process which delves into your unconscious, but that will also take you away from the present moment.
AUTHOR’S NOTE
Understanding fosters Acceptance. My hope is to offer humanity an understanding of who they are. From my own childhood struggles and social challenges throughout my adulthood, I finally discovered the beauty of life and the source of my happiness. This self reflection has brought a sense of freedom and joy that one cannot explain unless it is experienced for yourself.
As a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and suffering from severe asthma, and deafness, I battled to fit in socially with other kids when I was young.
Needless to say, I hardly had any friends, and this led me towards an introverted behaviour in striving to be the best at everything, so that maybe people would accept me and want to be my friend. But this did not work, instead creating more inner tension resulting in a deep desire to understand social interaction during early adulthood.
When western psychology did not provide me with the answers I was searching for, the east directed me towards a higher understanding of my true self, gifting me with the Maha Khala Meditation technique at a time when I was ready to give up.
I had been practicing and teaching meditation classes for
